5 Ingredients to AVOID in Your Personal Care Products
I have been absorbing so much information and want to share it with you so you can make a more informed decision when you are purchasing personal care products for yourself and your loved ones. I recently watched a video from my friend, Alexandra Winship (Physician's Assistant), who graciously allowed me to share much of this info with you! You can find Alex on IG @beachy_wellness_momma.
Of course, I would love to help you in the journey of clean beauty and encourage you to choose Beautycounter - a company who is committed to changing the industry and will NEVER put over 1,800 harmful or questionable ingredients in their products! However, I desire for you to at least watch this video and keep these 5 ingredients OUT of your personal care products:
5 Ingredients to AVOID:
- Parabens: mehtyparaben, polyparaben, butylparaben, ethylparaben
- Pthalates: DBP (dibutyl phthalate), DINP (diisononyl phthalate), DEP (diethyl phthalate), DEHP (di-2-ethylhexyl), DMP (dimethyl phthalate), DNOP (di-n-octyyl phthalate), DIDP (diisodecyl phthalate)
- Fragrance: parfum
- Sodium Lauryl Sulfate: Sodium Laureth Sulfate, SLS
- Retinol : Retinyl palmitate, Retinyl acetate, retinyl linoleate

How I Prepare 80 Meals for $80 (Frozen Crockpot Meals)
Переглядів 2203 роки тому
This is a bit "out of the norm" for me, but so many were so curious about how I do my frozen crockpot meals that I posted about on social media. Hope this is helpful! I shopped at Aldi and used 5 recipes (shared at the end of the video). I doubled each recipe splitting into 2 1gallon freezer bags. Each bag will last us (a family of 4) 2 meals! As always, happy to help! :-) Also, I have a Facebo...

    Thanks for the informative video! Curious if you ever used any kind of ointment to prevent rash or if the charcoal inserts were proper enough , and staying on top of regular changing. Thanks!

      Yes, I too, came back to this video for a second time to see if I could figure out the fabric, pattern, and HOW MANY did you think was a sufficient number? I'd like to make some for my son and his wife who use these diapers. Since this is their first baby (she's 4 months old), it seems smart to use reusable wipes too. This is a great trend!

    I have so many questions, I am trying to reduce costs on buying disposable diapers.my sister ordered these alva washable diapers and I am all the way in zambia. Our cloth diapers are different so figured I would try these instead. I wanna handwash the diapers I only have 6 of these. So wanted to ask when they are wet or soiled am I supposed to wash the inserts as well as the outer or I can wash the inserts and reuse the outer? Inserts say they are made from polyester and polyamide, can I still put one on top like you said in the video? To avoid staining the diaper?

    I’ve watched countless of videos on cloth diapering as it’s something I really want to do with my baby when he/she gets here in the spring, and this video is by the far the most helpful, insightful, straight to the point, and just all around informative. THANK YOU. I never understood the concept of inserting a cloth as opposed to having it on top of cloth diaper..so I’m thankful you showed that you CAN just place it on top. Will definitely look into the charcoal ones. Again, thank you!!

    I have liquid detergent that isn't too bad but I also plan on adding vinegar to the wash to help with build up is that ok?

    • @amberwanner2156
      @amberwanner2156 3 роки тому

      I think it would work (maybe just research that specific detergent to see if it says anywhere that it reacts to vinegar). I’ve never done detergent and vinegar together. I would do detergent and then (a few times) stripped the diapers using a recipe I found online.

    hi there, when it comes to going out, do you also put the charcoal bamboo & bamboo inserts in? how about for nighttime? how many hours could the charcoal bamboo & bamboo insert combo last?

    • @amberwanner2156
      @amberwanner2156 3 роки тому

      I would always do the double inserts (at home or going out). At nighttime, I stuck with disposable. Our kids were bad sleepers and I didn’t want them peeing through a diaper to wake them up! ☺️
