Very nice video of the sinking. I'm surprised how smooth it's running considering its size.
Anyway, the room with the long dome is the lounge, and the nearly identical room before the cafe is the smoking room. As for the grey boxes in the dining room, they are mirrors arranged into window shapes to help give the illusion the room is bigger than it really was.

I agree. My great great grandfather wrote a journal about the sinking and he described the ship coming to a sudden stop and resting for a few seconds before righting itself and going straight down. He was on the ship throwing deck chairs, doors, anything he could find he thew it off the ship for people to rest on. A lot of people think Lusitania went vertical, i think it was in a movie called Lusitania: Terror at sea. The movie is ok but the sinking is very innaccurate toward the end

RMS Lusitania was a British ocean liner that was sunk on 7 May 1915 by a German U-boat 11 miles off the southern coast of Ireland, killing 1,198 passengers and crew. The sinking occurred about two years before the United States declaration of war on Germany. RIP
