    Thanks for this! If anyone is like me, I noticed this problem after my car was sat around a lot after COVID lockdown. So I sprayed my heater motor with WD-40 and reconnected it, and it started spinning again! the only issue now, is that my interior smells like WD-40, but i quite like that smell anyway :) saved money on air fresheners too.

    Thanks for the video. I replaced the blower motor in my 2012 A3 TDI. It took me all of 15 minutes following these instructions.

    Brilliant - 2015 a3 Quattro came apart exactly as easy as shown here. Thank you for this. Intermittent fan blowing during -20 C was a problem easily fixed without emergency shop time. Thank you !!!

    Hey thanks for this! I'm not mechanically inclined but with your help I fixed the blower problem. In my case the fan was just "frozen" and just needed a good spin with some oil. If it happens again I'll replace it. Thanks again!

    Thanks for the vid. You saved me $$$. I didn't have to buy a new one. I took it out the old one, took two screws of the fan; pulled the coil, stator out and cleaned it with Mass Air Flow sensor cleaner. Let it dry for a minute or two, that stuff dries up pretty fast; connected it back and it blows faster than before. Thanks!

    Thanks for this, it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. The motor just needed a little convincing and lubrication to run again, no need to replace it yet!

    DUDE. You made it seem so easy. I was about to pay someone to do it, but it's like, 6 bolts and you just switch them out. Thanks for this one!

    Wow, this has to be the easiest blower motor change i’ve ever seen. Much easier then removing the heater box from under the hood and from inside the car under the dash on an old 91 audi 200 turbo lol. Audi’s engineers must’ve gotten told not to play practical jokes on the public anymore haha.

    I have another problem. When AC is On,The fan indicator in climate control are gone. The Fan level cannot be adjust. The only way to fix it is shut off engine & start again. AC is normal again..for about 15-30 minute, before the fan gone again. Anyone have this kind of problem ??

    $35 dollars for a fan or less than $5 for a new set of brushes that take about 10 mins to desolder and resolder back in.

    • @austingreen6042
      @austingreen6042 8 років тому

      also sometimes the fan is still fine, the a/c blower motor resistor pack is faulty/fails
