You didn't mentioned- China isn't a signatory to MTCR so Russia can't officially supply 400 km range missiles to them

Last part was absolutely spot on. I always say that no defence system is 100% reliable. There are always work around's and tactics can be developed to lessen their effectiveness. But at the same time it is not going to be easy peasy for Pakistan air force to get past this. As I've seen from a few Pakistani videos, it seems to them that taking this system out of a piece of cake! I can only laugh at their immaturity. S400 has caused numerous geopolitical issues and not for nothing. It is a mighty capable and dangerous system and that's why it has the hype, simple as that.

AWACS connected with S400 is needed for mountainous terrain.
As per foreign n indian defense analysts, S400 System creates much smaller A2/AD bubbles than beleived and isn't much effective when deployed in mountains or jungles as compared to deployment in plains as in mountains it needs to be placed in heights to increase field of view. Also, counter measures like missile barrage can overwhelm it n it would find it difficult to detect terrain hugging planes. Anyways, most critical element is man behind machine, much depends in training n competencies of operators which I am sure our men would excel at.

Most of the loopholes are a common problem with every air defense system, that's why countries try to add different layers of air defense systems upon each other so, they can close those loopholes but it can never be 100% effective coz if they were... Baki sab log cruise missile banana band kar denge, bhai I mean jab shoot down itna easy ho jayega to point kya.
And I would say that you should listen to those "forigen" experts with a grain of salt as it's typical of western media channels to sheet on Russian equipments and its not like we are only ones who are using these systems, China and Turkey also uses them and Turkey is a NATO member and many other countries also have shown their interest in these systems and the US also known how capable they are.... Nahi to sab pe CATSAA nahi mare pade hote unlog.

What if more than 36 missiles are targeted towards S-400 system at a time?
There will be other systems to protect it from saturation attacks. One thing to note.... if we lose one battalion from 5*8 =40 battalions there will no such issue. Those 36 missiles will cost more than that single battalion then. Enemy will not gain anything....

Can S400 missiles use semi active guidance from other linked radar systems(integrated air defense and control systems of iaf,other than S400 radar systems) to engage the bogey aircraft?
No IAF clearly stated that S400 will be a stand-alone system. Though all other SAM systems are interlinked. In fact once we develop XRSAM, necessity of S400 will be even lower.
@@hritamnath4919 with integrated command and control systems s400 would become even more lethal well if iaf want it as stand alone then it's their choice they know how to use it.

@@hritamnath4919 US don't want russian radar and avionics to get the electronic signatures of it's equipment so as to protect its components which may used to theft their data but us can't hide everything it wants because indian military uses atleast 55% of Russian weaponry if india wants it can easily use data and supply it to the 3rd party but there are end user agreement and seeing China on one side S400 integrated with other radar systems would be a potent weapon system to thwart any aggression by the chinese now india unlike China never reverse engineer or is involved in any data theft or supplied important data to any 3rd nation so I think iaf should integrate it well let's see what happens.

Good defense is vital in any war india has a 4 layer defense system s400 will be the main components bt it will not be alone and india ordered 1000+ extra missiles for s400 so it will be close to impossible to exhaust the s400 system.

The difference is 2 battalions make a Regiment,so a regiment is a larger composition.

U missed 1 point - china is not a member of MTCR, hence Russia can't supply more than 300km range missiles, as it didn't supply india extended range Brahmos, after india gets in MTCR then russia allowed to enhance range.
