      I learned 3D helicopter before I got into FPV. It's fun with a Heli, learning tick-tocks, cyclones and stuff. but it sucks/boring with a quad, they are also REALLY fast and hard to determine orientation.

      @@yodaco True, it's not 1:1 but going from 3D LOS to FPV, I was surprised how easy it was just to fly around, but I already knew what the sticks do.
      No one should practice with heading/self stabilizing, that is just a setup for failure.

    Given how the stacked prop lines up its blades in the diagonal with the lower prop, if you try even spacing, it's probably questionable whether the second prop even does anything appreciable, apart from additional drag. I've ordered a bunch of them for giggles because of all the other videos, but am gonna attempt a single prop per motor only.
    Would probably be worthwhile to do RPM comparisons at hover (via DShot telemetry) vs 5" props.

    Wow 64 blades... It does sound strange. If you have a second: My Betafpv 95 Hd is on a FrSky receiver. what do I do/change to use my DJI controller. Just remove the FRSky receiver and bind my DJI controller or do I change anything in Betaflight? Thanks for any help!!!

    • @AlbertKimTV

      That one probably comes with the DJI SBUS not wired up to the FC. So you need to remove and desolder the FrSky receiver, then wire up the DJI SBUS instead to that UART. See this video on how to wire up a Vista unit to the FC... ua-cam.com/video/J6hBqGsId40/v-deo.html

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  3 роки тому +1

      That might make sense in that higher voltage = lower current but in reality, you get larger voltage spikes when current demand increases on throttle up. The prop setup like this might just pop the ESC on one of those spikes. I'm trying to avoid that just in case. I'll let someone else sacrifice their equipment to test the performance. I wasn't interested in that aspect... more interested in the sound and noise levels.
