I used to live in Yardley 45 years ago just down the road from the Yew Tree pub that I see is now called the clumsy swan. it was so nice to see how it's changed since I lived there before moving to Redditch in the 1970's

Yardley old village , Ring of Bells pub great shops at Yew Tree happy memories of my first home when we were newly weds in the late 70's

Enjoyed seeing that park that I have never visited but I have passed many times on one of the mini bus routes that I do for the day Centre where I work at.
Also my Aunt used to live nearby over the road from Stechford Police Station and before that at Washford Heath of which I used to go past Yardley quite frequently.
I recommend you have a look around Blakesley Hall that is just down the road next time you are in the area.

pertrol has gone up.. 4:45 .. to 162.. i walk past that petrol station every day
