Our birthday is a few days apart, we miscarried within the same year, after feeling strong enough I tried again and now have an 8month old baby. Thank you for sharing your story and not making me feel alone ❤
Can I just give you props for talking about longetivity and health? I'm almost 34 with a 15 month old. I also have PCOS and had fertility issues, and I also used to watch my diet and calories because that's all that mattered for so long, but since having my son, I'm also turning toward quality of ingredients rather than just purely weight. I feel like there aren't enough women our age publicly talking about being around for our kids, and I appreciate that about you. It's important. Being skinny doesn't mean you're healthy. Being healthy means you're healthy, and I feel like I relate to this journey.
levi is seriously growing up so fast!! would love to see a sit down style video about what you thought motherhood would be like vs what the reality is, and any other feelings/thoughts you'd like to share on it since you've been a mom for a couple years now :) looking forward to the future japan vlog
I thought my life would be like this now after 15 years. Kids and starting school. Seeing you and your family really hits hard. How happy and loving life you all are. One day I hope to be as happy as you are ❤
Levi's little voice is so precious 💞 He is growing up to be a special little boy. You and Tom have introduced him to so much life. Remarkable !!! 💓 Love you Taylor.. So happy to see this video 💖
Thank you for talking about Perimenopause! I began it around 34 and now at 48 I am in Menopause. I really suffered for yrs because so many doctors in the US are so dismissive of symptoms and just tell you that you're too young to be in Perimenopause. I wish I had found a dr at 34 that listened, I might not have suffered so much if I hadn't been brushed off. Thank you for talking about it ❤
Exactly...they checked me for all kinds of stuff other than perimenopause. I'm 36. This started about 8 months ago. My regular cycles just all of a sudden went super long, my bleeding got heavier than it was before and the icky sticky feeling of the hot flashes are driving me nuts. FINALLY got a confirmation that it was perimenopause last week so hopefully I can get on something to help alleviate some of these syptoms...especially the hot flashes. Feels like you're boiling from the inside out when it happens...and then because I'm already sensitive to heat because of auto immune issues, I sweat so much when those flashes happen.
My doctor calculated that I started perimenopause at 31-32 yrs old, but we didn’t realize it then. My regular periods became irregular. Luckily, at age 33, I went to the doctor for a follow up and found out I was pregnant. Had my baby, lost hubby to cancer two years later, and had my last period at age 37. Regardless of the health consequences, I do not miss it.
I'm 35 and think I'm starting it my periods have reduced in volume by half and they're just weird now the color the texture if that makes sense and I'm having hair loss even baby hairs but idk if that's just genetics cuz my moms hair got really thin. But Im sure hormones makes it worse. About to do testing to find out where I stand. I checked a few years ago and everything was fine. I don't have kids yet and sadly I'm beginning to accept it just won't happen for me. It's okay.
I don’t know how but your videos are so comforting, I always come back and rewatch the older ones, and every new video is like a breath of fresh air in this reality. Thank you for keeping your channel and continuing this craft 🥰☺️
I'm glad you shared the period accident story; it happens to all of us even as adults and hardly anyone talks about it! Nothing to be embarrassed about yet at the same time it's mortifying trying to deal with it in public. Thank god for those wipes
Don’t worry about perimenopause and menopause. They are natural processes and you will get through them fine. Just enjoy where you are now and life will take care of itself.💖(love from someone on the other side😊)
If your family planning is not complete, it is much harder to cope. I am the same age as her and still childless due to fertility problems. Perimenopause is scary, especially at that age
Actually what she’s doing is the right thing. The earlier you take care of yourself and build a healthy strong body, the easier the symptoms will be. I got it without preparing and felt like dying ( physically, emotionally and mentally). It took me a long time and lots of effort to feel normal again.
Don't worry, lol. Maybe don't get stressed, but there is plenty to worry about with peri, lol. You never know how your body will react to your changing hormones, mental issues all over the place, weir physical symptoms you never expected, cycles going haywire. Peri is maybe worse than actual menopause. Sure, some people never have any major symptoms. But when you do, it's scary as F, and no one has prepared you for it, because it's only recently that people are actually talking about it. For me, I started having weird anxiety issues and unexplainable mood swings starting from age 39, but my cycles were extremely regular, and I was having no physical symptoms, so doctors would do nothing for me, I thought I was going crazy. Then this year, at 43, a few months ago, my cycles started to become affected, I had something called estrogen dominance, where my progesterone started to drop but my estrogen spiked, which is pretty bad, the PMS was the worst I'd ever had in my life, I thought either I was pregnant or dying, wasn't pregnant, I started bleeding 2 weeks late, then a week of spotting then a second week of heavy bleeding, then one say of cramps so bad I had no idea what was going on that lasted for 10 hours, then flooding after, flooding is maybe the worst thing to happen, went yo the doctors twice in those 2 weeks, first time was sent home and told nothing was really wrong, second time was the day after the flooding, had an ultrasound, nothing wrong, had a hysteroscopy, nothing abnormal, had uterine lining biopsied, nothing abnormal, had blood tests done, nothing abnormal, wasn't a miscarriage, iron levels low of course, but nothing wrong. Was given tranexamic acid to slow the bleeding, started on dienogest 2mg progestin to thin out the lining of my uterus (it's a drug commonly used here in Europe for endometriosis, but can also be prescribed for peri), then given an injection of decapeptyl to stop my ovaries for a few months, still bled for another week, but only got a week off till the decapeptyl kick started my ovaries into hyper-drive before shutting off and I bled again for 2 more weeks before my ovaries shut off. Had weird symptoms that were super scary while adjusting to both the dienogest and decapeptyl. Why am I talking about this horrible stuff?! Because NOBODY talks about it, how horrible it can get! It doesn't mean it'll happen to you, but if it does, wouldn't you want to be prepared, mentally at least? It's not normal, and it's not natural, peri is starting earlier and earlier for some people, and we're now in a time frame where more woman are experiencing it than ever before in the history of humans because more of the population is living longer, and there is more research being done, and it's not as taboo to talk about anymore. I don't like the BS talk of people saying "oh it's normal and natural and beautiful", no, it can be scary as F, majority of divorces happen during this time, many people unlive themselves during this time, many people are misdiagnosed, if I had been living in my home country when I started having symptoms I might not have survived let alone have gotten treatment. Peri is something we need to take more seriously, we shouldn't be suffering especially when there are treatments to help.
One thing I’ve learned from having my nephews is that they might be too young to appreciate but my sister and I aren’t. And it’s so magical to watch them experience things in a new place. Even if they won’t remember it we certainly will! So for what it’s worth I say go to Japan!
Thisss. I’m a mom of 3 and honestly I make sure I make memories for the kids and for me and my husband. Mom and dads mental health and happiness is also important especially in order to keep our kids happy and having a good mental health.
I love how health minded and preventative you are, but please don’t stress about perimenopause if you have no symptoms. Perimenopause usually doesn’t begin until your mid 40s for most people. But there is no harm in taking care of ourselves earlier!❤
You always do such informative, wide-ranging and educational videos... but at the same time they have such a personal touch that it feels like I'm watching a long-time friend. All the best to you and your lovely family! k
I love that when you were in the car and you started talking about Japan you’re eyes dilated just showing me how much you scientifically truly love it there.
Watched at work and at home. Of course! Thank you Ritz for always turning out for our favorite UA-cam family! Much happiness to you Tom, Levi and Rosie!
I am 26 currently and preparing to begin perimenopause soon. Unfortunately all the females in my life have begun perimenopause between 30-35yo. I hope that life treats you well and that when the time does come, it is not too tough on you.
Just wanted to say that Tom calling Levi’s name in this vlog was really heartwarming, it reminded me of my dad when I was a kid. You guys are such a beautiful family 🤧 also not the stain on your dress giving poo… 😂 just mom things
I was just thinking how I needed a comfort vlog because I feel like 💩 today and I got the notification for this video! Thank you for uploading, Taylor! 🙇Just what I need! ❤️🩹✨
@@Taylor_R Thank you! I sat on my balcony (first time in all summer, because I'm severely chronically ill and can't stand the heat & humidity, but the temperature is finally starting to be cooler in Quebec!) and it helped me feel better. ☺ I used to live in Tokyo and I miss the same thing that you do. I wish we had oden here!
I loved your reminiscing about Japan. I have been there only once, 9 years ago, and I still remember it like it was yesterday. I loved everything and everyone I encountered. I would love to go back someday. When Levi's a little older you can head back and stay in one of Sharla's Airbnbs! :)
You and your family are such a delight to watch. As a fellow model and Canadian, I’ve loved following your life journey for the past few years ❤ Time flies and now I’m getting closer to the age you were when I started watching🥹 You are truly inspiring!
I am getting married and moving to Hong Kong soon. And have been inspiring and total emotional (happy) as I have watched many of videos over a year now ❤
I just had to comment about the quality of your Vlogs. The colors and clarity just burst out so beautifully which enhance the interest in the story you are telling. It’s so perfectly good it needed a comment, so thank you for making it possible.
You are a ray of sunshine - thank you for making such lovely videos and showing us Hong Kong! I have watched your videos for years and they always make me smile :)
I love that younger women know about perimenopause so that they can better prepare for it! Education is a strength. My symptoms started at 35 (I'm 43 now) and honestly it felt like I was going a bit nuts trying to figure out what was happening, with little support because I was 'too young'. Always take care of yourself, at every age. And also, the Disney bathroom experience is so relatable ... I would of been buying up the gift shop for you with a brand new fit lol. (It's also a perimenopause thing, random period challenges). Love to you x
@@user-cz2tr9ge5h not random - it’s a good question! Obviously I’m not a Dr, but just as a general answer - ask yourself if you’re feeling and functioning ok. Do you have questions to ask a Dr? How is your sleep, hydration, nutrition and movement? Are you pooping regularly? Are you eating enough protein? Drinking enough water and electrolytes? Are you intentionally strengthening your body through exercise? Are you sleeping enough at night? I always start with those basics as a check in regularly.
I’ve been wondering about these Vivaia shoes for sometime now after I saw an ad on Pinterest once. Thanks for partnering up with them and reviewing the shoes!!!
Hi Taylor! You have been such a good influence when I was recovering from major depression, a light in my darkness❤... So a big Thanx from me in Belgium
You’re so glamorous and such a loving mother. I hope you can look back on the white fiascos and laugh. I miss the essence of Japan too. It was so quiet and I agree that they perfect their craft there.
I have watched your vlogs since your Japan early days, you have grown so much, added so many wonderful accomplishments. Watching you live a beautiful adventure is so fun, you two are great parents. Your family has been so much fun to watch, I can't wait to see your family experience life. Best wishes for a beautiful future.
i’m a silent subscriber and i’ve been watching you for a few years now. i just wanted to let you know how amazing it is to see you and your family grow. thank you for taking us along. i wish you the best!
Empathy with PCOS. Bleeding through was a constant issue for me. I went through early menopause as well. Ended up having my uterus removed and was the best result at 42 with two beautiful children 7 years apart.
You are given. Though you are not active in this chanel, but always waiting for you like forever. Thank you & more than happy for everything you have. Keep it on & enjoying every second of it. Happy family happy everyone❤❤❤
I love your hyper focus on the attention for Peri-Menopause and PCOS. As well as Post-Partum diet! It’s so refreshing to see another health conscious woman in my age group (though my son is almost 16). Focusing also on her own health rather than just her child’s and her families! Like my own mom always told me, “you are what you eat, and that includes what you eat with your eyes and ears.” Such good content and it’s so good to see you Taylor! I do have a question? How easy is it to be a vegetarian in Japan when compared to regular HongKong dining?❤
Hi taylor, I started watching your videos since I was in high school studying in the States, and now I have recently just finished my Master's in Hong Kong. It been almost a decade, and seeing your journey and how much we all have changed, makes me feel like we have come a long way, and I feel so proud. Watching your videos always makes me feel like I am catching up with an older sister. And now that I am in the same city as you, it makes me feel happy in a way now that I could also try things you have mentioned in your video, which I was never able to do before. Seeing Levi growing up is so magical, and time really flies.
This is my first video seeing Levi and my goodness!!! I feel like you just had him and he is talking and comprehending and helping out! Holy cow! You guys must be doing a great job parenting ❤ sending love!
Awe, I worked at HKDL for 8 years, so many memories. I also tried working at a pre-school and the babies crying was so heart breaking! I love revisiting old spots I spent so much time at through your videos.
For me, you'll always be a Tokyo girl! As for pre-menopause, I got it at mid 40s. It struck end me so hard and suddenly. What worked for me is lots of vitamins and minerals, using soy sauce almost everyday and lots of animal protein with every meal. Besides exercising and building muscles. Cause I really don’t want to go on any hormones therapy.
My god, Levi really inherited your photogenic genes, he looks soooooo cute! Totally love your outfit at 7:10, may I ask where the blouse and the bag are from? Btw in German gyms you are also not allowed to wear shoes you wore outside and you have to bring a big towel to put on the machine so it won't get sweaty. After you are done with a machine or dumbbells you have to disinfect it and wipe away any sweaty residue. That was even in place pre-covid. In super luxury gmys staff will clean up after you, but in most you have to do that yourself.
You were talking about your friends in Japan, and I immediately thought about Sharla.🐱🐶 I loved the videos you did together because you always had so much fun and we honestly could sense that! Your Vlogmas🎄 together was my absolute favourite. I always felt so spoiled back then, because I could watch you both daily on both of your channels. As soon as I would finish one of your Vlogmas, I would go the other's channel and watch it, too. I can only dream one day to have those Vlogmas again featuring you both. I miss you guys!💞
I have missed you and your family sharing your pieces of lifestyle.😊 It’s so nice to see you, your family and all the amazing things you experience.👏👍 Thank You for sharing with us. You, Your Family and surroundings are so beautiful.🌼💚
Strength mindset over skinny mindset! Love it - and love women bringing awareness to Menopause. Average age of Menopause is 51, but women can enter it anywhere between 45-55... and Perimenopause (the start of the decline in hormones) can happen 7-10 years BEFORE Menopause... so it isn't weird for someone in their mid 30s to start experiencing it. As a 42 year old woman going through it right now, and doing all the discussions with my doctor's about HRT, I wish I had started thinking about it in my mid-30s like you. You're ahead of the game!!
I still remember watching you on your fertility journey while I was on mine as well. When you announced your pregnancy I was elated for you even though I was still on my journey. It’s crazy to see that Levi is now 2 and my daughter is almost 1 and a half. We’ve come so far!
5:56 kids are so cute and innocent 😂🤣🤣🤣 Just wanted to say i love your content sharing how to stay healthy, really inspiring. And seeing rosie in your videos always reminded me how time flies, still feel like u living in JP with rosie wasnt that long ago🥹
This was a rough vlog to your clothes haha! But I love how you have blossomed into this wonderful mother, full of life and not afraid to show even the messy parts of life. ♥
i still remember i used to watch ur videos when u still live and japan! it inspires me so much and i'm moving to japan next year! can't wait to experience life there like u once were!
I understand why you're hesitant to go to Japan. He'll have trips he'll appreciate one day, but in the meantime you have your own life to live and you should enjoy it! You get to build memories too :) Hope you get to visit soon! You seem to miss it!
Thank you for letting us keep up with your life, it's so precious to see Levi & Rosie & how your family has grown! 🥺🥰❤️ Always love your content, and food & fashion inspo
23:30 the way your eyes changed when u started talking about japan ❤️ i hope y’all get to visit again, and Levi will get to experience all of the sounds and community and surroundings you reminisce about so much
Aww Levi is so mature for his age. My girl went to a few hours day care at 2+ for only 4 times because she didn't want to go anymore and in Switzerland Kindy isn't till 4 and if born after July then the following year. She is almost four and asked to go to daycare "school" the past month and is finally happily there. My husband and I also can't not talk about her when she is not around 😆
The outfit mishaps were too relatable 😂, but you totally rocked those looks! Also, prepping for perimenopause sounds intense. Appreciate you sharing those real moments! And, omg, Levi's voice is still everything 🥰. Can't wait for the next vlog! ✨
I started watching you when you lived in Japan because you were in one of Sharla’s vlogs. It’s crazy how long it’s been I kinda feel nostalgic for you aswell haha!
This video was so beautiful. Your family is adorable. I love seeing families treat each other with love and patience 🥰 It would be so fun to see you make a video doing a color analysis to see what color season you are and then to go try on clothes with those colors to see if you agree. That's my video suggestion. I would love to see it 😊 It's so nice to see you on youtube again ❤
I’m Japanese. I’ve been here since you were in TayTay era and living in Japan, so I’m very happy every time when I see you enjoying Japanese food and products a lot even though you are in HongKong. Japan misses you too!
Children in the Caribbean also start school at age 2. You can choose between, prep-school(thats more academic), daycare(thats more play), kindergarten(a mix of the first two) or homeschool(where mom, dad or tutor teach and engage with other homeschoolers at your own pace and own style).
Hey Taylor 🥺 I've been reeeeally behind with your vlogs and stuff, but I sometimes pop onto Instagram so I've been seeing your updates here and there. Whenever I see Levi, I get filled with so much joy that I can't express! I even tear up 🥹🥹🥹🥹 I guess it's just so heartwarming to see that he _exists,_ y'know??? After all that you went through - and with me having watched your videos since your old Japan days... I dunno, I'm rambling now lol 😭 But listen, even though none of us is entitled to knowing what goes on in your life, thank you for sharing your journey with us. I'm happy to see you and Tom and Levi and Rosie, and I'm just sooooo grateful for what you have together! God bless you, truly, and may you and your little family always have good health and everything you need to move forward in life, and may Levi grow up strong and healthy and smart and always feeling loved 🙏🏼❤️ (On a side note... When you said "sand flies", I was surprised - because we have sandflies even in the most regular, grassy, suburban places in my country and I never actually questioned why they were called _sand_ flies 🥹 I should probably go research this further 😂😂)
That's interesting. I've never heard of sandflies before. I had to google it to understand the concept. My country has beaches all around it and not once have I heard of it. I wonder if we have any... But in Europe we are very lucky because we don't have a lot of bugs that are normal in other continents and we get really shocked and fearful about bugs and insects we see in videos. Australian videos, for example, are mind-blowing! I think that's our biggest fear when travelling across continents. To make it worst I grew up in a city, so for sure mine is!😂
i still remember watching your journey to get pregnant and now Levi is growing up
He looks so grown!
I watch it too
Levi has a whole internet full of aunties and grandmas ❤️ I watch his cute little face and miss my babies being so tiny 😭
I thought she said she wanted 5 kids?
Awww, he's so cute singing happy birthday to Rosie haha.
HIs favourite song :)
@@Taylor_R had a neighbour who celebrated their baby's birthday every week. They sang it for about 3 to 4 mths straight 😅
Our birthday is a few days apart, we miscarried within the same year, after feeling strong enough I tried again and now have an 8month old baby. Thank you for sharing your story and not making me feel alone ❤

I hope your day turns around ❤
That would be so cool if they stay in Sharla's Airb'n'b! 🤩❤
You and your family are such a delight to watch. As a fellow model and Canadian, I’ve loved following your life journey for the past few years ❤ Time flies and now I’m getting closer to the age you were when I started watching🥹 You are truly inspiring!
WE MISS YOU!! every single day - thank you for still making these
I am getting married and moving to Hong Kong soon.
Random question but what can one do to look after themselves?
Oh my goodness. Seeing your journey from trying to have a baby to seeing him walking and talking. You're so amazing!❤
Levi is growing into such a beautiful little man!! He’s the sweetest!!❤ Loved the vlog Taylor! Always so happy to see a new video from you 👏🏻❤️😘
Please do a skincare routine update video - products and salon treatments! Sending love and thanks from Australia. X
Wonderful seeing you guys & oh my Levi has grown so much & Rosie is still as sweet as ever! Levi is the cutest! 🩵🩷🩵
Your son is the most adorable human I've ever seen.
I missed your vlogs Taylor 🩵
So refreshing to see you that happy with your beautiful fam !
Take care ✨
These are always such high quality, well planned vlogs. I really appreciate the excellence put into editing, content, and production.❤
I have missed you and your family sharing your pieces of lifestyle.😊
It’s so nice to see you, your family and all the amazing things you experience.👏👍
Thank You for sharing with us.
You, Your Family and surroundings are so beautiful.🌼💚
sooo impressed with Levi's communication/language skills !! good job mama
Awwww Levi sure loves his Momma. No worries Tom. Levi does love you too. But Momma is his first love.
It's incredible that Levi is starting school, he is growing so fast and he is such an intelligent boy, congrats ❤
I still remember watching you on your fertility journey while I was on mine as well. When you announced your pregnancy I was elated for you even though I was still on my journey. It’s crazy to see that Levi is now 2 and my daughter is almost 1 and a half. We’ve come so far!
Awww… singing, doing chores, Levi is getting so big! ❤❤❤
Levi is growing so fast 🥹. He is so cute 💕
Your such a good mum Taylor, the enjoyment watching you rise Levi is so awesome to watch.❤
I like that it is a short school day too, that way they are not overwhelmed!
Love that you always remain real; the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of your days. ❤
Glad you & your family are doing good. Levi & Rosie look happy🐶
What an amazing life you live!!!
So beautiful, family and career!
You are radiating!!!
Thank you for letting us keep up with your life, it's so precious to see Levi & Rosie & how your family has grown! 🥺🥰❤️ Always love your content, and food & fashion inspo
He has your smile, Taylor! So adorable!!
23:30 the way your eyes changed when u started talking about japan ❤️ i hope y’all get to visit again, and Levi will get to experience all of the sounds and community and surroundings you reminisce about so much
I can't see it lol
Love your videos Taylor
Thank you so much!
Your friend offering g a jacket got me misty eyed haha so good to have friends like that! Especially in nightmare scenarios lol
So amazing to see Levi just growing up so fast!
Omg i can't get enough of Levi 😭, he's an epitome of cuteness.
I'm obsessed with watching Japan vlogs and I've travelled a lot but still never been. I just know one day 'll love it
i was waiting for a vlog for sooo long!!! thank you so much 🥹🤍 levi is growing up so fast
So glad your back post so enjoyed it all thank you Taylor
Your life is literally goals ❤
💓Nice to see you all, Rosie is a sweetheart, Levi is wonderful, you two age like good wine!! Take care, best wishes for Levi's school year😊🙃🤭💕💕
I get so excited every time you upload!!! ❤❤
I’ve been watching your videos since you were in Japan… What a journey!❤❤❤
So wild to see how fast Levi has grown. Good luck with his transition to school, and good luck in school lil Levi!
I’m Japanese. I’ve been here since you were in TayTay era and living in Japan, so I’m very happy every time when I see you enjoying Japanese food and products a lot even though you are in HongKong.
Japan misses you too!
Levi is just precious ❤
The red mary janes are so cute ❤❤❤
Love the shoes so much!!! The red flats are my fav✨
They really check all the boxes! 😍
Children in the Caribbean also start school at age 2. You can choose between, prep-school(thats more academic), daycare(thats more play), kindergarten(a mix of the first two) or homeschool(where mom, dad or tutor teach and engage with other homeschoolers at your own pace and own style).
watching this on a Friday is just my way of preparing for the weekend. I will always watch a Taylor vlog !!!
Levis so cute and smart 🥹💗 you guys are awesome parents
God bless you, truly, and may you and your little family always have good health and everything you need to move forward in life, and may Levi grow up strong and healthy and smart and always feeling loved 🙏🏼❤️
(On a side note...
To make it worst I grew up in a city, so for sure mine is!😂
Vivaia shoes were my favorite work shoes are the MOST comfortable flats I’ve ever had. I loved your summer shoe ad.
