Very good u r best mach3 teacher ,,👍
thank you! :)
Super erklärt! Danke 👍🏼
Gern geschehen! :)
Great job sir thanks ❤❤
you're welcome!
buen video..gracias por tu tiempo
Muchos gracias!
I am waiting for the beep sound at the end of the video :D
Thanks good video!!
I'm glad you like it! :)
is the wiring the same as the PNP type?@@GBWM_CNC
Compliment from Palermo Francesco
thank you! :)
After hrs of trying to find how to set up mach 3 finally found this video which worked cheers mate
I'm glad it helped😁
Kardeşim merhaba, kanalını beğenerek izliyorum. Sayende Endüktif sensörü limit switch olarak kullanabildim, benim şöyle bir sorum olacak kendi çapımda ufak bi makina yapmaya çalışıyorum router mantığıyla. Misal motorları 0(home ) pozisyonuna gönderdikten sonra motor sürekli artı yönde dönecek fakat limit switch tetiklense bile görmeyecek bir mach3 ayarı varmı?
Ne demek istediğini anlayamıyorum. Tercüman kullanıyorum ama mükemmel çalışmıyor. ingilizce kullanabiliyormusun arkadaşım?
For 3 wire NPN: brown wire (+)24v psu, blue wire (-) psu, black wire to usb board IN2, IN3 ect
usb board In1 normally use for emergency switch
usb board: +24v psu to 24+ board , (-) psu psu to DCM board
Is there any mistake on the video? It seems I've show exactly the same as your description at 4:18. If there is anything wrong - let me know

I did not watch the whole video, so I thought he was testing only 2 wire sensors. My bad. My setup is using 3 wires NPN sensor.
This video with same BOB ua-cam.com/video/SRu599Noeww/v-deo.html. Uses a PNP NO sensor.
The author (CBWM) of this video uses NPN NC sensor.
Hi. I have just purchased this board and will be using a 3d touch probe. The probe has 3 wires, 24v+, 24v- and a signal wire to the pin 4 (I think). The way I see it is that the probe is NO and the signal wire when activated will send a 24v+ signal to pin 4 (active low NOT ticked) activating the board. Would I be right in this understanding? Much appreciated.
Had same problem. Fix using cheap Arduino Relay Module. Calibrate probe after installing relay.
What happens if you wire up a PNP sensor (3wire) the way you have the NPN sensor wired up?
It won't work
Sir,
How much would you suggest the RNR USB Card for a Woodworker CNC Router?
Have you run any Longer carving Projects using the RnR USB card?
Have you faced any unexpected interruptions or missed steps?
So many videos say that It shouldn't be trusted for longer projects?
Yes, these RNR boards tend to have electrical noise problems sometimes if you don't do everything perfect. I had to isolate the power supply of my laptop to make it work (even emi filters and shielded cables didn't help me). Usually there were no problems with jobs at about 15-30min of work. I didn't do longer ones. Usually if there was a problem the machine missed some steps and stopped (the controller somehow saw that something goes wrong). If you want to be sure for your connection - look for an ethernet port cnc controller like axbb-e or mesa (if you want linuxcnc).
In India , dont have access to such Ethernet Controllers. Or they would be insanely expensive if I source from abroad due to the Taxation and import laws here. China is almost in red Category. So No Aliexpress either..! @@GBWM_CNC
The Asian side is mostly NPN type. The proximity sensor feels short in sensing. I'm curious about the acceleration and deceleration peton.
I've just used 2 type CNC controllers - this one and a CNC BOB based on LPT port - actually both seem to use NPN as you state. Btw what do you mean by acceleration and deceleration peton?
2 sensörden hangisini indeks için kullanayım? İki kablolu olanmi(2 wire) yoksa 3 kablolumu(no npn)
Ikiside olurmuş 🤣yinede adamsın cuma saçma soru için ozur dilerim, bu seylerden hic neredeyse hic anlamama ragmen yapmaya calisiyorum beni yalnız bırakma işime yaryorsun. Şu makineye yapmam lazım sizin bilgileriniz çok işime yarıyor adamsınızzzz wear manss 🤣
NPN kullandım ve iyi çalıştım :)
Thanks for the helpful video but You are incorrect about connecting the PNP proximity sensor to the Mach 3 usb controller. It's possible and it works.
Are you sure you can do it with this controller? I've tried and there was no option to make it work. The manual states it needs to be NPN. How did you make it work as PNP?

Very good, I have a problem that I have found in Mach 3, I have the STB4100 controller with the TB6600 drivers and 4 nema 23 motors, the problem is that I get a warning (G100) when trying to set the soft limit, it drives me crazy and I don't know what to do anymore, it's been 2 months now and I haven't been able to solve it, I would really appreciate it if you could help me. If you need any more information to help me, do not hesitate to ask. Thank you for your time, greetings.
I've got sadly no experience with that controller nor the warning so I can't help. I'm sorryy
Excuse me and to connect the 6 sensors, how would it be?
what kind of sensors do you have? With 2 wire sensors this will be probably not possible to do. With NPN you should be able to connect the output of the first one with the (-) input of the second one and so on wiring them in series. This should work I think but I didn't test it by myself. But NPN - only in NC configuration
@@KanoB okej 😎
Connecting it to IN1 in your hand drawing diagram?
I'm pretty sure IN1 is the main Emergency Stop switch?
IN2 and IN3 is for limit/home switches and IN4 is for probe.
Actually it doesn't matter which input you choose. You can setup all the inputs as you wish in MACH3 :) so the for example the probe can be connected to in1, in2, in3 or in4 as long as you set it in the software.
@@GBWM_CNC You can switch the 4 output controls on and off ,but you can't reassign the IN(1-4) pins, they are set functions on the main board, all you can do is opt to not use them!
@@DogSerious I checked a manual available in the internet for this board to make sure and it says these can be configured in mach3
@@GBWM_CNC You're right, you can reassign it, but only to pins10-13 and 15. But I think the computer is showing port pins rather than the expanded board pins.
@@DogSerious From what I remember - the RNR plugin makes MACH3 show board pin numbers instead of port pins as this board doesn't use parallel port at all. But I don't want to misslead anyone now - I'm not able to check it as I don't have now access to this controller.
@@GBWM_CNC I really liked your video and it will help me. I wanted to ask you. does this red usb card work with linuxcnc?
Why does this not snow spindle speed if you set it as an input to index?
No idea tbh. In LinuxCNC it just works like that :)
@@GBWM_CNC yeah really odd, with a parallel board it works fine, wired up exactly the same
how precise are them?
Sadly I can't answer at this moment but soon I'll probably use similar ones for my new build so maybe the answer will be there :)
Bro how I collect the database and save in computer
What kind of database?
@@GBWM_CNC sir I am heavy equipment inspector we are using prximity warning alarm system now my boss need monthly data of PWAS

Technical instructional videos need verbal explanation otherwise they are a complete waste of time for the person who made the video and everyone who attempts to watch it. Seriously, how hard is it to just explain what's going on while you are shooting the video? If you are afraid to have your voice heard then why are you recording and publishing videos.
It's quite hard actually ;) anyway I think there is everything what is needed on the text on the screen.
