- Hello UA-camrs! It's my first video so the quality is quite rubbish 😅
I recently got the new Samsung Tab S7 and the S Pen nib died on me on the second day (surprise, surprise) so I'm waiting for the replacement warranty nibs/Pen from Samsung at the moment.
My partner got me a spare as an early xmas present so here are the contents in case you're wondering. TBH, I don't understand what's the difference with the spare nibs, apart from the colour. Let me know in the comment section if you have it as well and know the difference!

If I'm not wrong.. the harder nib is actually better for writing and the softer one is better for drawing.
You can just change the nib depending on your preference whether you like the harder or the softer one.
I ended up buying another stylus and fixing the white nib on that. But yeah, white one is better for writing or if you'd want to use a harder pressure for drawing so you don't damage the softer one as quickly
Hello from the U.S. great video! I have the 7+, and needed to replace the nib after about a week. They told me they don't offer replacement nibs. I've been waiting almost 2 weeks for a new stylus. Hoping it arrives soon.
that's ridiculous. I was told that samsung new product warranty covers the accessories as well. I'd bug them if I were you. I thought you can ask for refunds there?
1 week using my samsung tab s7+ , i don't even use it for note taking or drawing , but I just noticed that my s pen tip is frayed , like a water colour brush! IDK what to do! Samsung doesn't have services like you mentioned like buying another s pen with tips or getting it replaced in India , even tho it's a big market for them!!!!

The grey is a harder nib while the black is softer. Heads up, if you had a tab s6 the nibs will also work with the s7. I've been using the harder grey in mine since I only do note taking

Were you able to get air actions to work with the REPLACMENT S Pen? I got one and my S7air actions don't work with it.
For the case, I recommend the tab S7 case from Samsung. It's fully magnetic and light weight and very durable.
For the nib replacement, can you give the link? Mine is crooked as well and I've been using it for only 2 months now 🙃
Also, do you know if the warranty covers this? Or do I need to pay Samsung to fix it?

Congratulations Anna on your first UA-cam video it wasn't that bad. I believe you should have gone for Staedtler Noris Digital Pencil which works on the same Wacom EMR technology on which Samsung S Pen works. Moreover it does not need battery power to work is longer and more comfortable to work with any day be it drawing or taking notes

@@annanox6993 you can use an android app like Superdisplay with your computer and it works like a USB wacom tablet. So you can draw on the tablet but the illustrator/drawing app is run on your PC. That way you can use your Samsung tablet to draw on.
Definitely agree on this. The nib is just soft and is getting distorted. I am still searching for replacement nibs here in India

White nib is designed to work on glass protector, while black one is supposed to work smoothly on plastic protectors.

I was rhink about the tab s7 s pen but only the black color is Soft? Because i seen the green s pen one comes with white Nibs! What you say?
You've probably figured it out but I heard the white is usually harder, which means it's better for writing as it allows for your pen to glide better and is more durable for a screen protector.
Oof! Thanks for that; I haven't figured it out till you mention it! Funny enough, after replacing the nib, the replaced black one seems to be way more durable than the original nib that came with the pen.

I've actually bought tatinium nibs from amazon, they actually fit and they were amazing, i would recommend a screen protector ofc

Idk if ALL the nib on Samsung pen, whether it was the stylus from the note series, the tab series, the S series, or the S pen itself, are interchangeable but I've tried to use the free spare nib that comes with Samsung Note Edge to fix the nib on my Samsung Tab A 2015' stylus, and it worked wonder~ I was scared that it wouldn't fit at first, since I inherited the Tab A from my parents and they don't know if the Tab comes with the spare nibs or not (they bought the Tab in 2017 and have lost the box a long time ago), so I just rummaged through the old phone boxes that I can find at home and finally found the spare nibs in the Samsung Note Edge 2014 box. Thank god it worked! Now I got 5 spare nibs for free and didn't have to search around the internet to buy the cheap knocked-off one, or pay a load sum for the official one :')

This s pen is compatible with the Samsung Tab A? (The version with the S pen) I need help plz
hi, so in case I want to get an original nib I have to buy a new s pen yes? I saw you can buy some cheap nibs but not sure if they have the same material as originals, I prefer the soft nib material.
If you're referring to the new s7, I believe theres a 1 year samsung warranty for its accessories as well so I'd highly suggest that u contact them directly and let them know it's busted after x amount/months of use etc. and they will send u replacement nibs which are the tiny black box in the spen box in the vid. I got my replacement nibs from Samsung as well (for free). so don't waste your money and contact them first and see what they say!
@@annanox6993 thank you for your fast answer, I was wondering if you could tell me or show your case a bit better specially in the back, I would like to know if there is a big space or enough place to put the s pen and he wont be out, so if I put the tablet on a surface, the s pen wouldn't have contact with it? Most of cases let see the s pen very much.. I hope you could understand what I mean :)
@@brupolska The case I'm using has 2 places to hold the spen; one at the bottom of the screen that is secured by the tough silicone interior of the case and another at the back where the spen is placed for charging.
I understood your question. The spen charging "hole" within the case at the back is not deep enough to not graze against the surface where the tab is placed; it does stick out a bit. However, as you may have seen, the case has that rubber holder out at the front that wraps around the back of the case to secure the lid. That rubber covers the aforementioned "hole" where the pen sits charging.
To be honest, I rarely keep the pen at the back except for the short intervals for when I need it to be charged. I mostly keep it under the screen within the case to prevent it from getting lost. Hope it helps!

The nibs of the spen of the s7 are the same of the note 10/ 10 plus and note 20/ 20 ultra so if you have one of the nibs of those devices you can use it on the tab s7 spen

@@user-uw7ms4tt2m hello yeah , but the spen Is too small 😅 and the tab s7 / s7+ don't have a hole to charge the spen of the note to use the Bluetooth capabilities, remember that the spen of the tab have magnets to charge, yeah you can use the note spen and the Bluetooth capabilities normally but when is discharge you can't use the Bluetooth capabilities only the basic stuff

The dark one is more plasticky n the light is more rubbery, both slightly different, but not noticeable if your not an artist who is constantly drawing, and just writing

I don't have any problem with my spen nibs on my s7 spen or any spen i have , the white nibs are completely plastic with no rubber and the black one have a rubber thing to have more resistance when you paas the spen on the screen,
But on the silver and bronce s7 the nibs are white with the rubber thing

@@username9621 you're welcome , and yeah, the principal nib on the silver and bronze model are white with rubber, and the second one is white but full plástic.

what's a stock pen? the pen that came with it?
I mean if it gets loose then try to push it in. if it doesn't go in then you probably need to change the nib🤷🏻♀️

In pakistan it is really hard to find accessories basic from , like stylus cover buds live covers, book covers there is lot of availability of apple products
Samsung gives replacement tips or the entire Spen for free when under warranty. There are no extra tips given in Tab S7 box they come with tab S6 only
Hello then why are they denying me, bofht s7 last week, nib already failed, samsung service centre telling me to buy new pen
@@DDas-yi6jr try after a month and tell them… because of the use the nib has been blunted so I want a replacement nib and if they still deny then write emails to their Customer support and CEO Desk email ids can be found on their website

I had the same issue with my S Pen from Samsung, these nibs are really bad quality (fragile). I don't know what their definition of "good quality" is. It's disappointing, I thought mine had broken because it fell off my desk, but I kept using it as usual with no problems at all. However, a few days later I was drawing and noticed the difference in pressure, it broke, I thought maybe the impact damaged it, but I've been doing some research and it seems that I'm not the only one who had a similar issue with this pen. Regardless, it is a pretty bad quality nib. I've had a Wacom pen with its own nibs and it has fell off my desk more than once and still works great, and this Samsung thing didn't last a week after I purchased
Don't get me wrong, the pen, when it is in good conditions, works great, smooth and with a good response time, the tablet itself is great. But the S pen is fragile af, one mistake and you're done
I ordered a Wacom One Pen since a lot people say it works great on the Samsung as well, I will try it and see how it goes
The tips on these pens are exactly the same there's no difference between them the difference is just the color the tab S7 plus is comes in Black and the tab S7 comes in silver
Not correct. I have the 7 plus which came with a silver pen and white nib. So far I've had no issues with mine.
I don't understand where you're talking about are you just agreeing with me because you're saying not correct all I'm saying is there's no difference between the pens just colors and you literally just said you got a silver one with white tips

Lo puedes conseguir en la tienda de Samsung, en Amazon o si eres de México en liverpool. De igual forma si tienes una note 10 o 20 te reconoce el s-pen del celular.
Si usas un protector de pantalla (que no sea de los de textura tipo papel) puedes comprar las puntas oem. No son originales pero por lo menos a mi que soy ilustradora me han funcionando y en amazon mx las encontré por $152 pesos mexicanos? 7-8 dólares. Por 5 piezas. (Aclaro, no traen la puntita suave como la original del s pen)
A mi se me cayó el lápiz porque ' manos de mantequilla ' y la puntita se goma de la original se arruino totalmente. Asi que he ido comprando repuestos para encontrar uno que me funcione. Comparto el link. Son las de S6, pero funcionan perfecto con el s7 y s7+

Loooooooooooooong video for pencil tip replacement. You have to trim a lot to grab audience
Tab s7 , s pen nib failed in a week , samsung telling me to purchase new pen because they don't have spare nibs ( the service centre people are the most obnoxious kind telling all sorts of things just to throw you off)

I saw lots of video's where people buy the nibs on Amazon so maybe you could try that. It'll be less expensive

@@DDas-yi6jr nah man, within that period it should be covered with warranty. warranty applies for its accompanying accessories too. Unless you're responsible for breaking it of course. But product defect is on them to replace

The replacement nibs are not as smooth as the original one, so either you buy a new s pen or use an unsatisfactory replacement.
