I want to add that these nibs will not perform well on a paperfeel or matte screen protector. I bought the Tab S7+ primarily for drawing on the go but I might not have purchased it had I known I'd be going through a nib every day. I wore completely through a hard plastic nib in only about two hours of light sketching. It's really disappointing and I haven't found a solution for this yet.
For reference, I only change the nibs on my wacom intuos pen every 2-3 weeks. The intuos has a textured surface as well.
I can't stand the mushy/squishy feeling of the rubber nibs (which also wear down very quickly even without the screen protector), and I don't like drawing on slick glass, so I'd like to find a solution for this so I can enjoy drawing without worrying about replacing the pen nib all the time.
Everything else about drawing on this tablet is fine, but I still much prefer my wacom pen over this. I wish I could use it with the tablet.

Update: The Wacom One pen works with this tablet like a dream. The nibs perform perfectly!!

@@VivekSharma-tb8pr I'm not sure how the white nibs will last, but I can attest to the durability of the Wacom One pen, even with my matte screen protector. Without a screen protector, the pen tip might be a little slippery on the glass. I recommend it either way, it's much easier to use.

I tried everything to get my pen back in sync. I finally discovered, by accident, that having my cover folded behind the tablet moved the pens center off about a 1/32, more than enough to throw your brain/eyes off. If I lay the tablet cover open, instead of folding it behind the tablet, its perfect.
Mines been funny I usually hold my case behind my tablet and there’s also small section that the screen doesn’t work
It's because of the interference with the magnetic field being emitted by your case's magnet
You could also see the same effect if you put a magent behind the tablet, or if you put it on top if a HDD with from a laptop
2 years later and now Im also having the same problem with my tablet, it's hard to fold the case and open it back everytime since it's huge
My tab S7 didn't come with replacement tips for the s-pen. I don't know why Samsung stopped shipping replacement tips with the box.
Consolidation is those replacement tips aren’t expensive
@@teohontech7141 can you please recommend which company is the best for replacement tips. Because I bought my Tab s7 plus and the white tip that it came with split within 1 week of use. I called Samsung. They said it was physical damage and they won’t replace the tip I have to buy a new Spen.

WHERE did you buy SOFT nibs? I don't belive you, cause i'm searching for 1 Year now... Even if they are called "soft" - it's all made from harplastic without brush on the tip.

Idk if ALL the nib on Samsung pen, whether it was the stylus from the note series, the tab series, the S series, or the S pen itself, are interchangeable but I've tried to use the free spare nib that comes with Samsung Note Edge to fix the nib on my Samsung Tab A 2015' stylus, and it worked wonder~ I was scared that it wouldn't fit at first, since I inherited the Tab A from my parents and they don't know if the Tab comes with the spare nibs or not (they bought the Tab in 2017 and have lost the box a long time ago), so I just rummaged through the old phone boxes that I can find at home and finally found the spare nibs in the Samsung Note Edge 2014 box. Thank god it worked! Now I got 5 spare nibs for free and didn't have to search around the internet to buy the cheap knocked-off one, or pay a load sum for the official one :')
found this whilst trying to figure out why I ran through 3 black nibs In 2 weeks ! Now I have to buy more and have one white nib left and I never had these S-pen problems on my note 3,note 5 ,note 10+ , about 5 years of using galaxy notes phone and I never had to replace a nib till now on tab s6. Anyways very helpful video now I know I need 20 white nibs & 100 black nibs lol.
Maybe check AliExpress to see if they sell sets with just similar coloured tips.

Lmao I thought I had worn out my soft tip. I thought thread was coming out. Didn't know it was like a brush until now & I've owned a note forever. I put a magnet case on my phone & didn't realize it was not good for my spen. I thought my screen was broken until I took the case off. I was writing so hard until I realized it. I thought I had to replace it. It's fine

Hard nibs are easier to find. Just search Amazon or AliExpress

Helpful review! Didn't know there's a difference between the colors. So, the white nib is more apple pencil like? Can we see a comparison video showing the difference of the nibs? 😁
One will be harder which is more suitable for writing because when you write, you want to write fast. But the tip is still not as hard as Apple Pencil tip. So there will not be any tapping sounds while writing.

I am considering an S7 for digital art and I am looking for the best pen tip option to keep the device in good condition. After a year or so of use do the soft tips ever scratch or wear on the screen with no screen protector?

Hi Teoh! Thank you for the video! My problem is the nib (head) was cut and I couldn't get it out to have it replaced. I tried to pull it out with twizzers but it just went further in. Do you have any tips on how to get it out or no choice but need to buy a new one? Thanks Teoh!
There are tutorials on YT on how to remove a stuck nib
I just stuck a regular staple inside and after 23 seconds, i was able to pull out the broken-off piece

wacom one pen does work with galaxy tablets!! i own one and use the s pen and wacom one pen interchangeably

Is it because your clip slips off the nib? if so you need to clip harder. Make sure to use the flat side of the clip to prevent cutting/clipping off the nib which will make it impossible to remove the nib

I have a bit concern with my pen and my tablet ( i guess) which I kind of believe it is dumb but I recently changed my white nib to a black nib, after doing this, my pen was acting as if I had my air actions on but I don’t? And it has been bothering me a lot because I can’t properly draw, is there any solutions for this? Sorry for commenting on this video.
You can turn off Air actions from the settings
my original white tip on samsung S6 lite is losing its form and I have had it under 45 days. I did put a paper like screen protector (i think by MoKo?). maybe its the added friction? What should i do about the tips? i write alot and like the paper like feel.
You can buy replacement pen nibs from Amazon or AliExpress
Can you use the hard tip with a matte screen protector? The ones that are supposed to feel like paper.
The matte screen protector will wear off the S Pen tip fast. I recommend you try without the matte screen protector first.

I bought the hard plastic tips and it felt a little too hard but still very good. Only one problem appeared after a time and that was that the pen will stop writing if I only apply light pressure (pen still touches screen), this became very annoying over time as it makes double or tripple click at something. Does anyone have this problem
Yes i have this problem ive been looking for an answer. Have you figured anything out? I found if you put the pen nib in with little pressure it doesnt do it, but the pressure of writing over time makes the issue occur again.

If your tablet does not already come with an S Pen, it will not work with an S Pen

Great video. I think my nib got jammed into the pen too far. I tried putting a new nib in but it just stops right at the tip. Is there anyway to get below that little tip part or remove it to be able to grab the nib? I do have the nib remover.

Test with other apps and see if the pen performs the same. You should not have to press the button to write

I broke the tip off, how do you get that out of the pen to replace: fold 3 pen that came with the Samsung case.
I've seen videos where a heated needle is used to melt the tip and pull it out. Search YT on how you can remove broken S Pen tips

That’s normal. Sometimes the hardness and colour will not match, so it’s confusing that way

It's difficult to use pliers to remove the pen nibs. I've tried.
