my band in the 90s played in Mexicali.. we had a closing set of die my darling skulls and she .. the crowd went nuts when some guy grab the mik and skulls in Spanish.. lol we had to pay for damages. .. fun costs
Any other band that played these songs would be looked at with appreciation. It sucks that Michale had to step in for someone as infamous as Glenn. If you can look at the misfits as an evolving project, you can understand and appreciate it better. 46 years later and we’re still discussing the merits of the band? Also, Gerry is a nice dude and Doyle as well. Great guys.
He was a kid. He was only 19 when he joined the band, so he was probably 21 at the most in the video, while the rest of the band were in their late 30's and early 40's here.

Michale is a genius, he brought something that they didn't have at the time and they'll never have again because Jerry is an asshole, and even though this is my favorite band I'm not even sure if I'd want Mike back on it. Jerry is so fucked up... but I like to imagine an alternate universe where Jerry is the one who leaves. Haa.
I think it’s clear Jerry brought the group back for a cash grab, thought anyone could be the singer and didn’t realize how great and talented of a singer Michale was. Treated him like total shit and it didn’t work. Not to mention Jerry’s brother managing the band
