And you can also see this took place at a get together with the whole of the Main 6️⃣ that’s why she had the apple cider on deck, and that means the Main 6️⃣ were there when she turned. 😢
but wait, still Fluttershy is polite to ask if she can have it! no matter is she is already have permission to get one or not prior to it just by being acquaintances to each other, thats her personality!

Her magic and knowledge would keep her from infecting herself and the isolated and sterile environment of her castle makes it a good place to keep something like that, even more so if Ground Zero was in Ponyville. Finding cures requires having samples of the disease, hence the beaker.

@@elimarmosquea7081 it just feels so ridiculous for even amateurs at lab safety or even health/food safety. like why would dangerous substances be made around food/drink ? why would they be placed in similar contains ? why would they be mixed up together? its a cool concept but maybe another route would be more believable

I surprised how many people missed the fact there were cider beakers on the table *with* the horror potion. Anyway this is cute and creepy and made me kinda sad. The end is adorable tho, very sweet. I don't know if Twilight's supposed to be dreaming or they're both dead and they're ghosts talking or if this is the aftermath and Flutters has been cured but the was really well made and it's neat storytelling

She accidentally left the near identical beaker of chemicals next to the other apple cider ones marked with an apple logo at the top. It's basically like if there were a bunch of polyesterene cups filled with water or sprite, and Twilight accidentally left her cup of a clear acid in someone's line of sight (i say polyesterene since they use those cups sometimes in our school science experiments and it makes sense for people to drink out of). Since Twilight isn't a scientist but regularly experiments, it makes at least some sense that she would be more careless with her creations (though not necessarily to this extent).

I'm inclined to think it's a hallucination/dream, mainly because of the "changes" Flutter goes through, which I find unlikely to bring her back to normal after "that"... and because let's be honest, Shy wouldn't bring that up... at least not like this. Twilight OBVIOUSLY feels a lot of guilt and although her subconscious tries to comfort her, her conscious gets into it and it's more of a guilty consolation. By the way, I love this and need more.

If anyone says it was out of Twilight's control, how? The wasn't a light accidental incident that needs a stomach pump. Twilight's error in judgement lead her to putting a highly dangerous beaker in the open where anyone could get it. You don't just leave a bottle of acid laying around, even if it's covered in warning labels. And why didn't Twilight label it as dangerous? This feels very her fault. The only other pony to blame might be Applejack for seeing a random beaker and assuming it was okay to put her drinks there, but even then that still leads back to Twilight.
I don't see why everyone is confused, Fluttershy obviously did it on purpose. Maybe it was a suicide attempt, she wouldn't just drink a random potion carelessly
