it looks like the microphone pushes the padding out quite a bit. doesn't this affect wind noise? How come there's no after pic / video of the installation???

It is very hard to keep up in this video. How did you attach the microphone?! All suddenly it is attached in the video. Why fast forward instead of normal speed?
Thanks for the feedback! You can see the microphone attached at 5:58. We've recognized now the speed is not ideal, but for the moment it might help to adjust the playback speed in the video settings to slow it down a little bit
@@Championhelmets thanks, but I wonder where you attach it on the helmet. I can't find any where to fit it to my helmet :(
@@kesoebola It should slot in behind the neckroll right next to the internal sun visor mechanism. So, it will mainly be held in by the cheek pad itself, and it will be important to double check the fit. Though there isn't a good view inside, the best glimpse of the positioning is at 6:58. The microphone process for the Ark is a bit strange compared to some of the other systems out there
Matte or Gloss? 🤔 I can't make my mind up which looks more authentic carbon Vs pretentious carbon? I cannot see it in person due to COVID. Please advise what everyone thinks? Matt or Gloss?
Between gloss and matte, it will mainly come down to personal preference. Both finishes are to AGV's high standard since the gloss really highlights the carbon weave while the matte offers a sleeker, more understated look.

Besides coloring, what are your thoughts on the Sportmodular?
@@Championhelmets thanks for your prompt response, yes it's pure personal preference but wanted to get general opinion. I am leaning towards matte as like you say its got that understated looks and in my head thats more authentic representstion of a carbon fibre, but again my opinion is purely based on what I see most carbon based super cars have used! 😛 I've always liked modular helmets and a fully carbon version is a great improvement and ergonomic. My only concern like most was the price point and that it wasn't made in EU. But as it's nearly 2 years old and become more affordable.

I have just bought the gloss one as I couldn’t resist the price, £309 😁 It looks awesome, fits great, which is something I was worried about and is soooo light.
@@davidalonzi2918 brilliant, congrats man that's a good deal. Did you get a chance to try it in store or bought it online? I'm still sitting on fence with this one. Mainly because I wanted to try it in store. But also because I went crazy with my spending on MC gear this year! Got two helmets (Arai/Ducati and another Bell Moto3) and a further £900 worth of Triumph gear from a closing down dealer! 🙀🤦But I think the prices for SportsModular have crept back up again. I am not seeing as similar low prices that were earlier in the year during lockdown.
What is the battery file for music, gps and calls trough Bluetooth system?
Though we still need to check the Sena Ark out on our communication system battery test, it should offer about 9 hours of talk time.

Is it possible to easily detach the ark from the adapter, once you have installed it on the helmet?
You didn't show how it looks on the helmet, the features of the controls, what's different or the same.
Hi, that was due to the stickers, and it isn't much different at all. The features were shown first, the controls are best shown in the booklet, as they are simple controls. And with which system are you comparing?

What is the size of the speaker?
The speakers will be about the standard size of about 30-35mm. However, as long as you are using an AGV Ark prepared helmet, the fitment should be no problem.

is it possible to install this one on a Pista GP R? what is the best Bluetooth communication system for Pista GP R?
Thanks for the question! Unfortunately, there is no Sena Ark adapter for the GP R so it can't be mounted. But, instead of this, the best system for the GP R would be the Cardo Scala Rider Palktalk slim, which can also be easily mounted onto the helmet

Will the Ark communicate with other riders' Sena 20s or only other Ark units?
Hello and thanks for the question, an Ark comms unit should be able to communicate with other Sena units like the 20S. Are you thinking of adding a comms system to your helmet?
@@Championhelmets Yes. Actually, I rewatched the video and you did state it was universal and could communicate with other units. Sorry, missed that the first go round. However, as one mate pointed out, the buttons on the Ark can, to some be more difficult to manipulate than the rotary dial on the standard Sena 20s. Still consider the Ark though. It’s not a disappointment with the adapter, it’s because it’s designed to fit 100% to the helmet and even the size specified. Do you want them to deliver all different size and helmet configurations with the unit? Unrealistic and not good for the environment either. If someone wants a universal 1 size fits all device, there’s plenty to choose from. But people that buy this don’t want this universal fit.
Does this intercom work with AGV K1?
Unfortunately, at the moment, the Sena Ark intercoms are meant to integrate with the AGV K5-S, Sportmodular, and the AX-9 and since each requires their own special mount it won't fit on the K1. Thanks for the question! How are you finding the K1?
