- Back with some more Kings of War action and joined by none other than Bill from Warzone Morloc UA-cam fame. Going to show him the ropes for Kings of War and show off just how easy it is to get to grips with!

Love the smaller scale games, so easy to print and paint.
They’re an absolute joy! I honestly thought painting would be harder but due to the lack of ‘too many’ extra details it was so straight forward and fun!

This game was infectiously fun! I’d love to play again and was surprisingly easy to get to grips with. I LOVE the scale we played at and was impressed with how tactical the game is with regards to terrain and facings etc. Very rewarding and refreshingly quick to play. Plus Rich and family gave me tea and sweets
Tea is the ultimate way to bribe your opponent! Welcome any time mate and yep, this game is an absolute winner. As you said, simple rules set, deep tactics.

Thanks! The minis can be brought online plus a few other manufacturers out there for 10m. The best bit is the small board is easy to store and really cheap to make!
These baby models and games do have a very nice appeal, and love your funny animations you chuck in!

Awesome! Where did you get the buildings/building STLs? Forest Dragon stuff is amazing.
Buildings are from 3DLayeredScenery Leichheim set. The 15mm ones but scaled down to 70%
Where'd you get the d12 holders? Are those an STL? Neat idea!
Hi. Yes they are something like ‘wound marker dice holders’ on Thingiverse. A quick FDM print and so handy!
Very interesting. I guess I will do this too. Please allow me a question: when you play 10mm KoW how big are the infantry regiment bases?
Hi. For simplicity we use a 40x40mm base which works with all the minis. I’ve based infantry and heavy infantry on the same. Technically the heavy infantry and cavalry should be a little larger but it’s a small margin and this game works more on a ‘grand scale’ than my accurate positioning
@@diceandeasygames2337 ah thank you. now its clear. I thought that you used a certain ratio of 28:10mm bases. I mean your solution is much simpler than cutting down 50x40mm bases for kow infantry regiments. As far as I know renedra has 50x50mm bases, so I could cut just 10mm on one side off, so have a ratio of 2:1. But your solution to use warmaster bases for it is much simpler and it seems to work perfectly. It also saves time, because the warmaster minis sometimes are difficult to trim down to add an additional single mini on a 50mm base. Although I will use Excellent Miniatures and they often have single 10mm miniatures for small money. But of course better and faster is your solution and I will do it as you did. I am remembering fondly my epic space marine and warmaster times decades ago. I think its time to reconnect with this grand era.
My Lizardmen (see other videos) are based on 2mm MDF which are 40mmx20mm. But then I'm always awkward! Just ask Rich.
I (Rich) have just gotten the print licence for Forest Dragon minis so outside of scaling them up slightly to fit a 50mm base, using this method works a treat. Also doubles up as ready to go incase you decide you want try Warmaster too.

Thank you! I use a Mars 2 but some of the minis were on a Creality machine but it wasn’t as crisp. If you don’t have a printer then keep an eye on our Instagram as I’m looking to put together a ‘box set’ soon
I'm new to this game so please forgive me if im just being really blind. But I cant find the rules for the pegasus knights. could some ont point me at where I can finde them. thank you :D
Hi! No worries, not all the minis have set rules as KOW entries are mainly for their own minis. We used the Elohi rules from the Basilian’s book as they hit hard and can fly. Seemed about right!

I am coming to this as having been a 40k player and honestly its nice to just play a game where you don't spend the majority of the time looking at the rule book. Super excited to use my Pegasus knights next game.

where can we find a ruleset for the 10mm game?
We play Kings of War by Mantic. The base rules are free on their website. Then you can get the fire rulebook with a huge amount of army entires both physical copy or digital all from their webstore. Your FLGS may also carry their game. It’s great!
