Excellent work Samy. I was standing outside Gozar Coffee (highly recommended) as you walked by making this video. You looked like you were in full Francis Ford Coppola mode so l didn’t say hi😂 Great content as always mate. Much appreciated
Have you seen any hotels, like the ones in the Phuket/Karon area that are the thin 3-5 story buildings and have a small restaurant/bar on the ground floor? Usually 1-2 star but good service and nice basic hotels?

I'm headed there at the end of the month for a couple of weeks and I'll be staying in the Draco Hotel. An Thuong just sounded like a popular area with expats and digital nomads. I also like the idea of it being a walkable area and so close to the beach. I'll likely even hit nearby Hoi An for a day as it has been years since I've been there.
@@socialsamy Yeah. There were cheaper places to stay, but this will be a workation and so I'll need good WiFi and some privacy for meetings. I knew that the Draco was also fairly new and very clean. I'll look forward to seeing your Hoi An video in the near future.
Now you tell me, I lost my debit card at that ATM 2 weeks ago😂 Someone told me to check at the hotel, of course it was there AFTER I cancelled the card😊 Lesson learned, only here for 60 days will return in April for an extended stay! Keep up the great content and information 🤗

Your videos are awesome. You do a really good job. We also have a channel on youtube, barefoot island life... We hope to see you soon. Ted & Maryann...
You don't recommend Airbnb but Agoda (similar to Airbnb?) is OK? Also the chairs and tables are free to use at the beach? I heard that people would go to the beach to wash themselves at 5am, is that true?
For shorter terms really stick with hotels and agoda it’s cheaper and full service. For 1-3 I would go for services apartments and 3+ months I would look at fb, door to door and agents.
Yes M Hotel is the newest hotel beach front and best location usually goes around ~$80 I believe they opened 1 month ago and it’s opposite of Maia beach bar.
I like how you do a commentary on your walking tours, some idiots say nothing on their walking tours and do not even have sub-titiles. What was the name of the hotel you liked for your parents? you didn't say...
An thoung area is a nightmare of NOISE. At 7 am these ladies screaming on loud speakers selling garbage food on their motorbikes and the BAMPAO RICE guys even worse. DO NOT STAY IN AN THUONG AREA if you need peace!
