Hey Samy. Pros…Value for money, salt coffee 😉 food/Grab, beach, ease of transport
Cons: Rubbish (aka trash) on the streets, even next to the higher end hotels by the beach. The empty lots just turn into dumping site. You can’t walk on the footpaths (sidewalks) unless you want to break your neck 😅
Loads more pros than cons. We loved it. It’s just bonkers, everything is just so different compared to Europe. Crossing the road was certainly an adrenaline rush the first week we were there, but gets easier.
Finally, it’s so good to see some of our old neighbours on your videos. We miss you all!

I’m of bringing my Dji 4 pro to Vietnam or not
Do the authorities have a problem with this maybe I’d spent too much time worrying about if my drone was gonna get stolen or not .

Maybe I've been in Asia too long and become desensitized to the noise, but I kind of like the Banh Bao guy(s).....just an amusing background sound like the Oo-woo bird in Thailand. And he generally just passes by - doesn't stick around too long.
Also I'm surprised so many people said the air quality is bad - I've always found the AQI levels in Danang to be exemplary. More often than not crystal clear skies.
Johnny FD made a lot of comparisons to Thailand, some of which (IMO) were valid, and others I disagreed with, but one I've found is as far as dealing with foreigners and related hospitality, the Thais are perhaps 20 years ahead....without fail when having any interactions with Thais in the service industry it is all smiles, crazy friendly service. Hospitality-minded. And while the majority of Vietnamese you interact with in places like Danang are unbelievably friendly, you still come across a percentage of stroppy sourpusses which you would never meet in Thailand.....*But* having been visiting Vietnam since the 1990s, I can say it is definitely rapidly improving.
Danang is 95% pro, 5% con in my opinion. Having lived in Asia for most of the past 25 years, I'd have to say it is one of the most "complete" places I have been, and other than the weather being a bit poo for four months of the year (extreme heat or rain), it pretty much checks all the boxes for me - I absolutely love the place....I hope it stays a little bit under the radar for a few more years.

Excellent video, very very interesting to hear these different voices on da Nang. Very positive about Da Nang . Funny the guy who is talking of Thailand all the way...must be in love with à Thai.
For me,I like Thai food whereas I love Vietnamese, it's fresh, refined full of fresh herbs and spices, and so healthy ( and cheaper)
Yes you do more of these videos,it gives à wide picture of what da Nang can offer

I have watched many videos on Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines. It is hard for me to choose between Da Nang, Hua Inn and the Philippines in general. Philippines apart from the well know cities like BGC or Makati and some selected part of some other islands the place there seems wreck with no planning and bad infrastructure. Philippines people are the most hospitable with the ability to communicate in English but I feel that you can be easily scam. Vietnam my worst thing is the visa run apart from this I can live there 100% no problem. Thailand is closer to me because of it's modernity, convenience, beautiful infrastructure that I can rely on. I Think next year if my health permits me I will live between four south East Asian countries, but Vietnam will be my base as it is more affordable to make a long term lease and be as my base camp, that will dor sure be Da Nang.
