My guess is that the apps just don’t work as well on the Samsung tablet. Otherwise I see zero reason to have switched. Now you have a stylus that has to be charged to work at all and I find stops charging way before its price tag warrants it to. And this is coming from me who uses just about every Apple product there is. 😂 I also guess you’ll get more UA-cam views and “engagement with Apple products. 😉
Why would you buy a 2 year old iPad a week or two before the new model comes out? Even if you wanted the M1 model, it will drop significantly in price in a week or two when the new models are released.
well the opportunity presented itself to me so I just took it, I was able to get this iPad for a pretty decent price bundled with the magic keyboard and apple pencil so I decided to just go for it.
Yes it’s a little curious. I can understand no need to upgrade from 5 to 6, the 5 is actually a really solid, fast tablet that handles all kinds of tasks with ease, including 4k video editing. But if I didn’t have a 5 and the 6 was coming out, with 128gb base storage, I would definitely not buy the previous gen. Must have been much cheaper than the 6?
I bought an iPad Air 5 just after the 2024 Apple Event and I am very happy with it! I saved 200$ compared to the M2 Air Model and it works great with the Affinity Suite and Procreate! Way better performance and LIGHT YEARS better screen than my old 2018 Thinkpad Laptop. If you are on a thigh budget I think it's a good purchase. M2 of course will be better in spec sheets but personally I have been working with no problems at all.
I’m currently stuck between either going for the 10gen iPad, or spending a bit more for iPad Air M1. I’m gonna be using my iPad for Studies, Gaming, Video Editing, and Light Graphic Designing. Could you give some advice on which iPad is more suitable for me? Would be greatly appreciated.
If I was on a budget I would pick the tab s9 because even if they are both the same price, you still have to add funds to buy the Apple pencil and maybe a keyboard case. However with the tab s9 you already get the S-Pen (which has a better writing experience than the Apple Pencil) and some places bundle the tab s9 with the keyboard case.
In order to really get a good writing experience with the IPad you might be interested in the Apple pencil + a Paperlike screen protector so thats added cost.
Guys just a warning, it may seem cool to get a iPad for school as while in some things it is, most of the time iPads are bad mostly because the software and especially Microsoft apps like PowerPoint and word. If you want an apple product just get a MacBook Air 13” which is a similar price as an iPad Pro/Air with a Magic Keyboard
agreed. There really are some things that an iPad cant get done especially if you are a student that needs much more demanding programs. For much of the school work I do though it's been able to handle everything so far. Do you have a macbook? I've been using a windows laptop for a few months and I wonder if switching to an apple macbook would be an interesting switch.
@@latinreuben oh thats def on the list HAHA its just that I got a new windows laptop a few months ago… feel kinda guilty if i go buy a macbook right away. MBP is the last one on my list tho to complete my apple ecosystem.

I might enjoy this laptop for a bit then maybe sell it off a couple months from now and try a macbook. the last time I had a macbook was in 2018 and I kinda miss it.
i would've chosen the ipad air if it has face id. Currently planning to get a ipad pro 11 inch for school use and casual gaming. I have sweaty hands and I always have some trouble with fingerprint scanners so the face id would be more useful for me.
I was obsessed with getting Air 5 to avoid all the papernotes all over home. However, Im gonna return iPad Air 5 bec i can't consciously pay so much for only 64gb. Plus, the battery drains faster than i thought & 2 hours to fully charge ipad is a travesty.
Hi! your english is just fine! Me personally I would make the ecosystem I use the major factor on which tablet to buy. But if I had to choose I would go with the Tab S9, you get way more for the money compared to the iPad.

What's planning on game the new air 6 bur for budget wise and more iPad experience I'm going to stick with that air 5 can't wait found a good deal as well online for it! Then the future I'll buy the iPad Air 4 and Air 6 or pro M4
So ur saying u don't want ur S8 Ultra? Lol...I have iPad Air 5. I used it for the 1st few days & then didn't feel the need to use it. What really bugs me is 64gb base config. Thank goodness I have a 90 day return policy to return it.
oh, i got rid of my s8 ultra last year and traded to an 11inch tab s9. It was too big for me and I hated bringing a 14inch tablet w me. But right now Im trying the apple ecosystem with the 256gb ipad air 5. 64gb is way too low since i store and do a lot of school work in my ipad. The ability to use a hard drive is nice though I can access files directly from my ssd.
I really considered going for the Pro vs the Air but in the end chose the air haha would have been awesome to have ProMotion though...maybe ill swap iPads with my brother who has a pro 🤣
Hi! I never really had any experience with the tab s9 FE but I would say both are on the same level. You might want to consider what ecosystem you are in. If you use an iPhone I would go with the iPad, if youre using a samsung phone then the tab s9 FE for sure! Hope this helps!
I still plan on trying to edit a full video on it. Ill probably give feedback on my next video about the editing experience for an actual project with 4k footage
Well I have never bought an apple product straight from apple, I always went to distributors or second hand sellers. I dont use Amazon but from what my other subscribers have commented Amazon is a good place to look. Maybe check out refurbished units too!
It’s not too late you have 15 days to return your iPad for the new one coming out next Monday! There will be an even bigger 12.9 Air as well. The pros will launch with OLED displays.
hi! Ill definitely give it some thought while I still can but right now I really don’t have the intention of getting the new lines of iPads! I do plan on borrowing one for the purpose of reviewing it. Maybe that will convince me to trade up 😂
Unless you do video or photo editing the air will be more than enough to suffice your media consumption and or note-taking. I have a 2020 pro and it was great. However when I found out the pencils will not be compatible with any of the new ones I end up getting the M1 because I'm not spending a hundred bucks on a pencil again.
i honestly thought about it but I got a really good deal on this iPad so I jumped at it. Maybe I could upgrade a few months from now? but as of right now im really happy with the M1 iPad Air.
Not having 120 Hz isn’t a big deal. You’re not playing Crysis 3 or Witcher 3 on an iPad anyways. Mobile games are so crap these days that I’d rather have a better laptop than a flapship tablet.

I own the tab s6 lite and want to upgrade, A5 256gb and tab s9 is the same price.

Imo, your 1st intro into Apple should be a MacBook. Happy with my 2015 MBP and all it's ports but battery needs to be replaced.

The only issue for me with iPad Air is the lack of ProMotion.

well I have been able to edit shorts & tiktoks so far on it. but for full projects I would still recommend editing in an actual macbook for sure

Amazon has a sale rn I got my 256GB for $549 I wanted a black or white one but I end up getting purple because that was the price.
