I love ❤these old songs
ET was the best all time country music singer , it still resenates today how great he was! Thank god I had only 1 chance to meet him, such a very very nice man, god bless him and his great music the lives on forever.
Chi BM ml bbn guy BM mkki98
Never be another like ET. He was the best.Leon Rhodes was another of my favorites
ET is ONE of the best, along with Eddie Arnold, Jim Reeves, Hank Williams, Hank Thompson, Faron Young, Charlie Pride, Bill Monroe, Clyde Moody, Marty Robbins, Merle Haggard, Jim Ed Brown, Ray Price, Mel Tillis just to name a few. Loved them all.
You bet James, I grew up during their years and they were the best
Travelled many times to Nashville as well as grew up as a young lad
listening to it all on Saturday nights on a radio with a antenna.
My hero was Bill Monroe hands down. Met him and shook his hand.
Ernest the best.
Ernest was one of my husband's best friends, and the sweetest man you would ever want to know. Miss him so much. Widow of KenAllen

Wow. You were one lucky lady
I was in the service in 1965 and bought the album at the bx store on base I believe it cost me about four dollars back then. after hearing it; I truly believed ET was a true Texas cowboy singer and there was none other like him with that deep baritone voice and sounded like a real man should sound. I'll always love his style of country music and
Buddy and Leon sound great. I love the sound of that steel guitar. True country at it's best.
Wow just a gift to us
i come from vietnam but i love this music
ERNEST TUBB IS THE BEST.
sam rowe I agree 💯 My Dad, God rest his soul🙏❤️ was one of his biggest fans!! Dad had almost every album Ernest Tubb ever made!!
I am 22 but in my mind nobody in the music business stands taller than good ol' ET.
I agree with you Angelo. In those days you started out playing rough'n'ready Honky Tonks.....in other words you learnt the hard way. Today they expect to turn up at a talent show and win without any history behind them. You should listen to ET's Saturday Satan Sunday Saint....but also my personal fav....Thanks A Lot.
The high water mark of country music. Today's pop/soft rock version of country music can't compare.
It's sad they don't make them like they used to.I was raised listening this music. My mother loved Hank Williams Sr.I love Hank snow and Ernest Tubb..They were all great.
I just love all country songs..it expresses how you feel sad, lonely or happy.but guys take it easy when your broken hearted find another love, maybe your not the choosen two.agree? It hurts but (wag dibdiben)take a deep breath then recharge.thank you for your nice song and great voice too.🙏👏👏👏💗💗💗👌
This fella is maybe the biggest case of underrating ever in country music.
Since when was he ever underrated?
The best of the best. I always look forward to when I can hear his music. Thx ET.
Owen Bradley produced such a great sound. Simple and rich.
met E.T. at the Winchester Club in 1976. Very nice man with a wealth of knowledge to share. Never will forget our conversation about Hank.
I loved this man.

I love his music.

vanhooler where is it available?

Who were the players, engineers, and producers on this? I would be curious to know.
Jason Baker excellent question! I have most of that information now listed in the 'show more' section..
Hi Jason ! From France, I thank you for your ask (question). On this LP, I like ALL (musicians -nice guitar bass part- engineers work, production. Best wishes.
originalformulamusic Thank you for sharing. I'm surprised Owen Bradley let a fiddle player play on this. He was notorious for not likeing fiddle (outside of a string section). Great old recording. Thanks for sharing!
Jason Baker In response to your comment about you are surprised that Owen Bradley "let" Ernest Tubb use a fiddle player in this session. Number one, Owen aka Half-Moon Bradley did NOT tell Ernest which musicians or instruments he could use in a session. He was Ernest Tubb!
Number two, he wasn't just a fiddle player he was Leon Boulanger a Texas Troubadour, a helluva musician and frontman.
Ernest was very loyal to his Troubadours and made sure he used them in sessions and television shows. He even turned down a Johnny Cash television appearance because he was not allowed to use his Troubadours.
Jason, press the little icon to the extreme right of the titles...gives you everything .....my Grandaughter showed me!
Would love to hear philappino
My grandpa broke up all his guitars.
No I'm
Yall are fooling yourselves. There is a reason why he isn't widely spoke of today. He was mediocre.
Yeah "mediocre". Hahahahahaha!
Nice comment. Text it to all your relatives, so they can save it as a simple obituary after the absolutely worthless life you lead finally comes to an end.
