We knew the Sella Pass (Dolomites) was supposed to be one of the prettiest roads in Europe... we just didn't realise how INCREDIBLE it would be to drive it.
Join us as we discover the Sella Pass in our motorhome and get some breathtaking drone shots of the Sella Mountain Range in the Dolomites.
You can find our full itinerary, map and route on our website (Wandering Bird)

I left my job to tour Europe in a motorhome. When not touring, we review motorhomes, ride motorbikes, pick up after our cocker spaniel puppy and enjoy spending time outdoors. Our home-base is a boat- a bit different from motorhome life!

The Dolomites are absolutely amazing. I've never been to Switzerland, Germany or parts of France near the Alps, so I can't compare. But I can't imagine anything else to be this beautiful.

You have to visit Switzerland - try staying in lauterbrunnen and driving to Interlaken.
I've visited both and amazingly, I think this area of Switzerland was even more aesthetically beautiful and magnificient than the Dolomites

lol I was thinking to my self @5:40 would be a great place for lunch and WALLAH you noted you two did have lunch there. That meadow is majestic, if I ever travel to Europe, to see cathedrals, Tour de France and Alps, I'll make sure to go there. Thanks for taking me for the ride. Safe travels and riding.

Fabulous. Looks like the puppy enjoyed it too! I have driven many of the alpine passes in Italy, Austria and Switzerland, but as yet never on a motorbike. I gather you didn't have yours with you either. Maybe next time!

Mac LOVED the Dolomites- so many places to run around like a crazy dog. We decided not to take the motorbikes this trip- it was too cold most of the time anyway!

Great stuff. I like your rig! Was it a challenge to get a motorhome which could tow a bike trailer?

    • @WanderingBird
      @WanderingBird  4 роки тому +1

Nope- we've had 3 now. You do have a make sure the chassis can have a tow bar attached, but otherwise it's pretty straightforward

Nice video make sure you obey the Rules for Flying a Drone in Italy or a fine might come your way

Drones must be identified by a plate showing the identification of the system and of the operator.
Drone pilots must maintain a direct line of sight with their drone during operations.
Drones may not be flown at night.
Drones are not allowed to fly over people or crowds, including sports events, concerts,.
Keep up the good work :-)

You being ex ATC, I don't know if you have come. Across the David Gunson after dinner speech " what goes up might come down".
    If not catch it here:

Absolutely brilliant! Found my copy recently on USB and listening to it in the car nearly had me off road twice.
ps: DO NOT watch or listen to this while concentrating on driving! - enjoy.
