      Try asking campsites if you can give their address

    Interesting tour of the campsite. Were they really outside Bidets next to the waste disposal? We're so lucky in this country

    • @WanderingBird
      @WanderingBird  5 років тому

      Yep- they sure were. I never saw anyone using them though!!

    I would love to know how you found it wild camping with a trailer and motorbike, I want to travel with my motorbike and was planning to put it in the back of the van

    • @WanderingBird

      Easy peasy. We have a clamp for the trailer and an extra lock to keep it secure to the van, and we pick places well out of the way with space for a longer vehicle. Had no problems *touch wood!*

    Nice tip for the long downhill decents so not to boil the brake fluid or cook the brakes.

    Are you going anywhere near MATERA please?
    We would love to see how set up for MH they are, as a European city for 2019 culture and tourism etc

      We didn't go near there sorry. Having said that, not many places in Europe are badly setup for motorhomes.

    What cellular company is best for Southern France/Italy? Orange?

    • @WanderingBird
      @WanderingBird  5 років тому

      We have two phones, one with Vodafone and one on 3. In my opinion, the better coverage has so far been with voda

    Do any of the Sostas have hook up?

    • @WanderingBird
      @WanderingBird  5 років тому +1

      Some do, for a fee, but most of the ones we've found don't.

      Wandering Bird Adventures hey are Caravans welcome?? Or only motor homes?

    • @WanderingBird
      @WanderingBird  5 років тому

      Dennis- we have 2 leisure and 1 engine battery. We have a solar panel but it's not a huge part of our electric system. We recharge as we drive, and if we stay at a campsite we get hookup.

    • @WanderingBird
      @WanderingBird  5 років тому

      Hi Chris- do you mean in Sostas? Or in the campsites? For both, it depends on where it is, but I think caravans were welcome in both places we stopped at in the vid.
