Good week to you Greg! I hope all is well this week!
Very interesting prompt to begin today's episode! Here are my answers to it. If I had $200, I would probably just spend it on Nintendo Switch games or something insignificant like that. If I had $200,000, I'd probably hand it over to father to pay off MY vehicles. Fiinally, if I had $200,000,000, I would buy every car I've ever dreamed of having (which, by the ways, are not hypercars by any means). If I had some leftover, I'd pay cash for some houses, one here in North Dakota, one over in Montana, and one down in Arizona. Hopefully I'd never have to work ever as well!
Speaking of money stuff, I definetly think it's time to list off those LEGO sets that have been in moving boxes for the past 4 years, that would drive me insane! Also, is your eBay store a public thing? I thought I heard you make a store called Greg's Collection at one point here on the podcast but just get stuff about jewerly, I would just be curious as to what you had up for grabs.
I am thrilled to hear that you and Clark had a glorious time at Oliver's party! I never had a birthday party, nor did I ever attend one in my early childhood days. That being said, I have considered hosting a celebration with my close friends in my class at the end of our senior year just as like a social thing. However, that sounds like a lot of work for just one guy, so we'll see.
I hope you and the fam have the best week possible, live those days, like everyday, like it's your best, and I'll see you in episode 201 of Missing Pieces!

Very cool! Glad you enjoyed the prompt and congrats again on 200 wonderful episodes! For me, my answers are almost identical to yours:
$200 - Silver Dollar City season pass - The medium-level pass gets you a season pass for you and 5 free tickets for guests to use throughout the year so that would go a long way to making so many wonderful memories with me and Captain Beckett.
$200,000 - A small piece of land (5 acres or less) and a home in the country, but still somewhere with solid Internet access. In the area I live, you can find homes in the country, but homes with solid Internet access is still somewhat of a unicorn for some reason. C'mon Starlink...
$200,000,000 - Every Pokemon card IN THE WORLD MWAHAHAHA! Just kidding...I'd put half of that money immediately in some kind of investment account so it could start compounding some interest and set up my family for generations to come. I'd take the other half and do various things such as traveling and contributing to various charities.

Good day sir! Fantastic Episode 200 this week. Great to hear you have been busy listing things on eBay. I too added a bunch of stuff and some of it even sold while I was away in London. Guess I'm gonna be busy when I get home. Have to say that we are with you on buying physical gifts for birthday party presents. We've found with Wee G and DJ they receive about a 50/50 split of actual presents vs gift cards/cash. Invariably it is the actual gifts that they enjoy the most, and it is always nice to see the recipients reaction when gifting items vs vouchers. That said, it can be nice to take their cumulative money/vouchers to buy something more expensive that they might be wanting. Hope you have a glorious week... with love from our family to yours!

Forgot to have my say on the '200' question. So for 200 bucks, I'd splash out on a nice LEGO set we could build as a family. With 200,000 I think it would have to be pay off our mortgage and any other outstanding debt and put anything left over into savings to invest in the kids future education. As for 200mil, I can't even begin to imagine what I could spend it on, but having learnt from our bus tour in London this weekend, some properties in or near where we stayed (Pimlico, Mayfair and Belgravia) go for around 5-10mil a piece, that might be a start..... but not sure I'd like to live in such a busy environment! Other than that, it'd probably be spent on seeing the world, and also ensuring the kids had the best education possible to them.

Hello Greg, congratulations on your 200th episode! 🎉 Long time, viewer and listener of your channels, although I don’t comment too often. Like Clark, our son also has a holiday/ winter break bday, Jan 1st. New years baby, awkward time however. He’s 7. We usually do a family bday w cake and opening of gifts like you guys do w Clark. This year we actually threw him a bday party bc he’s been asking, with his classmates. We did in the middle of January, on a 3 day weekend off from school. This way it was a longer weekend, plus a little further away from the holidays,
Seemed perfect. Also had a laser tag party, at laser bounce, our son and the kids seemed to enjoy. The idea of a summer celebration for Clark seems like a good idea. On the topic of bday party gifts, our son got mostly gift cards/ cash. Very little things to open. I always think it’s a good idea to atleast get the child a something to open ( maybe w a gift receipt in case they don’t like or have it already) and maybe a gift card or some cash in a card. Looks like you got some pretty nice things for Clark’s friend and knew what he was into which was a plus. Have a great week!

Hey Greg, Congrats on the 200th episode! I’m usually just a listener but I had to make time to comment on the 200th. 🙂 I usually listen to your podcast during work on Monday mornings so I’m really grateful for you helping me start the week in a good mood 🙂 Funny to hear that how similar your date day with Coty to ours…..but this month we took it to another level and after shopping (clothes to my wife of course 😀 ) we went to the Hungarian equivalent of DMV to take care of some administrating issues with our car. Yeah……you shouldn’t try that….grocery shopping sounds like a honeymoon on a tropical island compared to that 😄

Awesome episode Greg can’t believe it’s already episode 200. I’ve been here since episode 43 man time fly’s. I think it’s interesting that at the birthday party you guys attended the gifts were only V-bucks and various gift cards I don’t think I’ve been to a birthday party where the gifts are only gift cards I can remember when I was younger and when I went to birthday parties kids would get lego sets or board games. I guess the generations change depending on what’s treading.

Congrats on the 200 episodes. Have not been there for all of them but have gone back and listened to some older episodes. My son had a birthday party he was invited to not long ago. I noticed the kid for nothing but gift cards and money. Except from us. World has changed a lot in my 38 years of life. Thanks again for getting me through another part of my Monday at work.

Hey Greg, finally 200 episodes came & went. I do like your structure of your podcast with your life details and listener feedback towards the end, have you ever thought of an additional sub topic to add more time or is 1 hr the cut off? Great podcast and hoping for many more, also are you looking forward to daylight savings next week?. Also thoughts on attending Brickfair someday?

Good Sunday Morning!! Congratulations on 200 episodes!! We are all so blessed by this channel. The 200M question...definitely set-up an endowment that you can give each year to assorted charities and people. We have a better understanding of the needs in our communities. It really does not even take an exorbitant amount of money to make a difference...a little money and investing your heart in people. Investing in others in turn is definitely a direct benefit for you. Relying on government or politicians to do your bidding is futile, we have millenniums of documented failures. :)
The Oliver gifts were awesome and you are right to have purchased him real gifts...it shows much more commitment and caring than just a gift card, especially for younger recipients. He really looked like he enjoyed the gifts, especially when they were all around him to reveal the cards. :) Great win!!
The summer birthday, end of school party is an excellent idea!! My son was born two days after Christmas and while he was off for his birthday each year, it was hard to corral friends. We tried the middle of the summer party and it was fantastic...pool party, cookout, great day!!
The listing is IMPRESSIVE. That is such a meticulous, grinding process. What a fantastic win...money and space clearance not to mention, bringing joy to others with new found treasures. Great that you stuck to your pricing and cashed in for more. Never be panicked when selling even if you are a panic seller. :) The bin store sounds like a fantastic place to go...definitely a treasure hunt!!
The experience is really the treasure...the time with the Clark and your mentoring is the true benefit and the profit. You approach is so spot on, invest in people and experiences. Hold on to materials that benefit those priorities.
Just spending time together is a great date and goes so far toward maintaining a relationship. The simple things after years of marriage are such great "recaulking" events. It keeps everything in tacked and cozy.
Greg, another great week of sharing life with all of us. Always be YOU!! I hope that the first week of March brings the family more precious memories to add to the great history of Greg's World. Take care of that wonderful family and looking forward to another great week of No Zero Days!! 🙂

I am 14 and I still have “birthday party’s” in my mind and the way we set it up is we don’t sing happy birthday and if they want to give me a card they can give me a card and if they don’t they don’t have to go! I just think it’s a good opportunity to see family members and have a good time. Don’t let society pressure you into what’s “normal” or “childish”. You do you .

$200 gas and turnpike money to visit friends in Virginia Beach. $200,000 down payment on a nice farmhouse. $200 million education for myself and family with the remainder being spend on starting free Montessori schools. Because why should the rich be they only ones to be able to go to a Montessori school. Tuition at most Montessori schools run $13,000-22,000 a year. There are a few public Montessori schools and a few that serve low income areas.

Always love to dream when asked the age old what would you do with x amount of money question. What would I do with $200? Well, first things first I'd convert it into £, of course! 🤣
I've currently got plenty on my shopping list for when I've got a spare £200 or so, I think top of the 'treat myself' list would be a canvas print I've got my eye on of the Glastonbury Festival, the biggest music festival in the world, and somewhere that I've been lucky enough to go to twice. Easily two of the best weeks of my life have been spent there!
With £200k, I'd buy a bigger property and expand my business. Space is very much at a premium when it comes to property in the UK, I must admit I do roll my eyes a little every time you say that there's not enough room in your basement, that type of space would be worth an absolute fortune in parts of this country! There's so much that I'd be able to cram in there!
£200 mil, honestly for myself it would probably be very similar to the £200k aspiration, get somewhere not only me but some of my closest friends and family would live a very comfortable life in, but I'd still want to work and expand the business. I'd get very bored very quickly if I just lived off the money. And what would I do with £400? At the rate we're going by the time we get to episode 400 it'll just be enough to buy a tank of fuel!
I like the sound of this Bins (Binz?) place, I don't think we've got anything like it over here, certainly not in my part of the country at least. I'd imagine the Saturdays would be fun to look through but the place would just be full of scalpers who'd quite happily push you out of the way to get their hands on the best deal, a bit like the people at the front of the queue for the car boot/yard sales! I wonder what happens to the items that haven't sold by the end of the $1 day? Do they just go back up to $7 the next day?
