Excellent descriptive and clear video, thankyou very much! As a beginner the hatching issues are very frustrating and this offers the insights needed to sort the issues. Thanks for taking the time to describe this.
about the best video on ezcad work. thank you!.... one problem I keep running into is that after I import my vector file, I Had a few lines that were missing. So I draw in the straight line and when I go to connect the nodes, it wont let me select both nodes and then unite them. Any ideas on what i'm doing wrong? Yes, I'm holding shift. when I select one, it deselects the other. How do I add in lines and then unite the nodes? if you need more clarification, I would be happy to provide.
What file type are you importing? Try different file types and see if they all have some disappearing lines before you try adding lines. Some EZ cad read certain file types weird. To fix your Node problem select the whole image including your line and hit "Group" up in the top left corner. Then you should be able to connect nodes.
I just got my new Z5-1 Fiber Laser. yesterday . I open up the software and I just type something basic with the text, but it still says text. It won't change the name. What am I missing? It still says on the screen text I see the name that I typed in as an example. Open up the text box and I change the name, but it still shows up as text. Do you have any other beginner courses to get started?
I highly recommend using something like inkscape to create the design and then save as a svg for example and then export and import that to the software for the laser. I use EZCad and it's pretty bad. I try to use it as little as possible hah
Ok for the explanation of the topic but the video part of the tutorial is completely out of focus. You can't see the parameters or even the buttons you press.
Photos cant be colored in this version of Ezcad if im not mistaken. If you mean black and white grey scale. Im not sure how to do it I only use vector images when I laser.

how do I unblur fuzzy photos and get crisp details. I have a photo I like but when I zoom in close I see gray pixels next to my black pixels.
Great video brother
