My George in my car is still going strong. Talked to England yesterday while driving. "Barefoot" no amplifier.
It's all about the conditions. Power is a non-factor in a lot of cases. Lot of guys simply can't switch the amplifier off in our missing out on some of the best conditions.
Wonder if a cabinet to make it like a base could be made with a 3D printer
Probably that's the only way to make it happen.
