@@lepoldbuttersstotch I saw signs saying industrial park development, not houses. The entire highway already has industrial and company buildings along the 404 already.
Thanks for watching. Yes, this was a smooth landing compared to the last time I was on this flight 5-6 years ago. See below. ua-cam.com/video/ibUdkSlLNIs/v-deo.html
It's an amazing view when any plane comes to land in Canada....No smog, however depending on the weather there could be not so clear views of the beautiful landscape as the plane comes closer to landing into a city.
Awesome, I lived in this beautiful city for several years and never missed any autumn traveling to view Fall colors all over the country. Amazing memories
Thank you for watching. I agree. It is glorious. I was lucky enough to fly to Quebec City during absolute peak autumn colours. That video is at the link below. ua-cam.com/video/4KB2yuAEoog/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
Wait...Lufthansa is still flying 747 passenger service? Thought they were all relegated to cargo service now and passenger airlines were using A330s/ 777s, etc. instead. Anyway, nice vid!
Thx for watching. As of May, 2022, it’s my understanding that 34 747-400s were still operating scheduled passenger flights, including those operated by LH. I don’t know if that number had changed by October, when this was filmed, but the 744 flew LH’s FRA-YYZ service until Oct 28/29. queen-of-the-skies.com/747400pax-active-list/
One of the best city landings I've ever seen.
Thanks for watching.
One of the crispiest landing videos. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your comment!
Love the crisp early autumn sunshine and beginnings of fall leaves
First airport is Toronto Buttonville, second is Downsview and third (landing) is Toronto Lester B. Pearson (YYZ).
Buttonville will close this November and turn into condos and houses :( I can see my house in this video (almost!)
Good catch. It took roughly 2.5 minutes, to fly from downsview to Pearson, a distance of 13km, giving a ground speed of 312km/h.
@@nighthawk0077 three times the speed of the average car on the 427.

which runway?
Without that final piece of info, well , everything else is undone. Lol.
24L
Which is odd, because the big usually land on 23.
Amazing view of Toronto, and this was a feather touch smooth landing. Amazing piloting skills 👏👏👏
Thanks for watching.

Beautifully captured!!
Thanks for the comment. Outside of selecting my seat, nature did the work.
Very smooth landing and how fast reverse thrust made the plane get out the runway.

Toronto is really a very big city.
Yes. I believe it is now the third most populous urban area in North America after New York and LA. Fourth if you include Mexico City.
Whenever I fly I always want a window seat just for this purpose.
what flashes by at 5:46? A bird?
That’s what it looked like to me at the time.
Was that a ufo at 5:47?
It looked like a bird to me.
