- We were so thrilled to have a #sponsored stay at Camp Margaritaville Pigeon Forge just outside of Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
This RV resort and lodge had everything you could possibly want and then some! We never left except to visit the national park.
Highlights included large, full hookup sites with mountain views, private and clean bath house, modern playground, pool with a water slide, splash pad, and hot tub, a lazy river, duck pin bowling, game room with a massive arcade, and of course a bar and grill with margaritas.

A beautiful place. Probably pretty pricey as well.
Pleased with campsite, however hearing the garbage trucks/dumpsters at 7:00 is ridiculous.
Board games anyone? we enjoy board games on our travels. Check out: "WingSpan", "Terraforming Mars", "Power Grid", "Pig Pile".... we have a lot more, but these are the favorites that get played over and over. I am curious if your dining table can fit a board game, like Power Grid.
Unbelievable!!! So big, so much going on and just a beautiful area!
Thanks for sharing!
God Bless
Very good review thank you
Thank you for sharing. Will definitely check this one out. You also need to check out some of the national park campgrounds - both Elkmont and Smokemont. Elkmont is between the Sugarlands Visitor Center and Townsend, Tennessee and sits right near the old town of Elkmont which is in the process of being restored. It is a no electricity/no water campground (you need to get water before you arrive) with a generator friendly area if you need that. Being a national park campground, it is inexpensive and 1/2 price with the National Park/Senior Pass. Lots of hiking without driving. Smokemont is on the Cherokee side of the smokies and the same - no electricity/water. Lots of hiking in Cherokee, checkout Bryson City for hiking/food, Nantahala Gorge, Wheels Through Time in Maggie Valley (every engine in the place runs). There are also commercial campgrounds in both Townsend and Cherokee.
We love national park campgrounds, but I work remotely so sometimes I have to forgo those for privately owned campgrounds with wifi.
Beautiful place! Passed through the area about 4 years ago on a trip back to Oklahoma. We’ll have to check it out the next time we pass through the area.
You should!
A Chirickr sighting !
Good to see y'all! This is such a great area. Enjoy!
Tip: You guys need to remember to look into the camera when you're talking. Good info though, nice park. We were in Pigeon Forge in April last year, right before they opened Margaritaville. We'll try it out next year.
Thanks for the tip.
Thanks for a great review.
Glad it was helpful!
