I loved so much when you said your kids are people you would want to be friends with, even if you hadn't given birth to them. That shows how much common respect you have with them. You're a great mom!!
Loving your way of parenting. I have been a single mum since my son was 3 months old and now he is 15 years old. Strict when you need to be, but respect and great communication and of course ability to listen are great parenting advice. Also, having open doors of communication, even my son’s friends come and talk to me. Just being fair and as you remembering what it felt like being there age. Great job Adelina
I see an orb at 24:48 and same place at 33:22 floating around your left elbow. I have noticed them in a few other videos as well. Someone is watching over you. How wonderful. Thank you for sharing a little more with your subscribers. BTW I really like your van set up, especially the kitchen area. Simple and works well.
I loved your answer to the last question. My son is 38, and I'm still trying to learn to just listen instead of telling him how I feel, or how he should feel or react, and he gets frustrated with me. I'm going to try to be more like you. :-)
Now that my kids are adults, I actually ask them: "Do you want me to give my advice or do you just need me to listen?" I'm not sure why I decided to start asking that but it really works well 😊❤️
Hi👋Adelina, am having coffee with you while watching your video. Like the Q&A, nice to see you and Sophie, thank you and take care ☕🐈have a nice week 😃🍁🌺
I had a Sophie that was the sweetest cat too! I lost her a few years ago. She lived to be 18 and her brother Baloo lived to be 19. They both were cats that meowed like normal cats. I inherited my niece's cat after she was killed in a horrible accident. She meowed morning, noon and night. Her name was Monkey which I loved. I had her for about 10 years. I came home one night and she was having seizures. I rushed her to the emergency vet and she was gone a few hours later. I told her when they were about to put her to sleep that I wish I could hear her meow one more time even though I complained about her meowing all the time. She went meow meow. I laughed and cried at the same time. It made me feel good to know that she knew she wasn't alone and I was there with her! Give your sweet Sophie girl a hug for me!
I always love your Q&A sessions!! So much good stuff, as always. And thank you for answering my question! Sending you love and healing hugs, Adelina. 💕
Death of a friend is hard to process. Sorry I didn’t see your video sooner because I wanted you to know others have experienced the feelings you were describing, myself included. I also mentioned the sage words of Queen Elizabeth who said upon the death of her husband that, “Grief is the price we pay for love.” Sorry to repeat but I wanted you to have these sage words of wisdom.
I hope my kids would think I was a good mother but if they think your old school they sometimes have trouble telling me things. I eventually find out but I wish they had told me while they were struggling. Like you said all kids are different. I find I have a really open relationship with my grandkids which I appreciate. Great video always love to hear the questions from subscribers. Glad you are doing better.
It’s so interesting to hear the process of how you get your water, hot and cold. I’m glad the park provides these services for you Adelina. Thank you for answering my question. Always enjoy your content. 🙌💕
I always appreciate your perspective on things and this was so good. Wow, Sophie is 17! That’s awesome and she has gotten the best of love and care being with you. One week ago I went to the shelter here in Saskatoon and adopted a two month old kitten and named her ‘Punkin’ because she has the exact same coloring as Sophie.☺️ I love her to pieces. Thanks for sharing. ❤️🇨🇦
I saw a tiny home in the town of Vanguard, Saskatchewan. You, or your viewers, could always inquire in the town of Ponteix, Saskatchewan. They allow mobile homes to be on regular plots in town, so I imagine tiny homes would be welcome too. You could buy land in town for a great deal.
Adelina I thoroughly enjoyed this video!! Very informative and very honest. Your parental advice was awesome. Personally I’d like more conversations about things like pantry storage and putting by food for future need and storing it in a tiny home. Economics - things like that.
I really enjoyed the variety of questions you covered Adelina and I bet you can guess which of those questions I would have asked! Love & hugs to you & Soph. ❤
Good Q& A video....Yes loved this sweter colour of yours and the pink sofa blanket the blue and pink combination and your coffee cup all coordinating so beautifully the details like this I really love all these in your video...
Nice video Adelina….i know you had answered many of these questions before in other videos…..it was nice to see someone just not telling people to click and watch the prior videos 🙂….Glad you were having a good day … I hope your week goes well ❤
A: I think we used pretty much the same playbook in raising our boys. I also wanted to raise them to be better than the men I was meeting in my age group. I wanted them to be young men who would grow up to be independent. I wanted them to have the proper life skills to be someone else's partner. I got so frustrated meeting men who weren't independent and were looking for a "mom" to take care of them. I was determined not to inflict them on the women they would be meeting down the road. Most women work and are not looking to raise and teach life skills to someone else's grown child. P.S. I don't live in a tiny house, but it was the educational and informed way you presented your channel that got me hooked. Keep it up girl!
I think you had good advice about your kids. I always tried to explain why I wanted something a peculiar way. And give them a choice, when it was safe. And also what would happen if they did it a certain way. I think it worked out pretty well. I think I got lucky with mine. And or a lot of hard work. Good moms like you, are willing to put in the hard work. In my opinion.😊
Great talk ,Adelina! You should go for your dream sooner than later! You are at an ideal age and have the knowledge about tiny house living to start a small park Don't forget about a "go fund me page" to get a start. You've got many interested people who can help you out! Love&hugs,Sandy😊
Adelina, which Promaster did you choose? I am ready to start looking. Year…wheelbase…etc. and why? I love your minimalist mindset and your concern for your subscribers.
Our insurance agent offered "parking insurance" on some of our vehicles that were only activated when we used them. It was very inexpensive. Love your thoughts!
Hi! And yes our rv furnace and a/c is noisy. Yes I remember the moving fiasco! Wow Sask! Surprised me! Land out this way is less but man they still aren’t big on private people and tinys. They did recently make a small tiny house area for some of the homeless people in Halifax Municipality. I figured you would stay on the island or maybe halfway BC AB. Hope when it’s time you find just what you want!❤ wow just start, my husband has you tube but me no way, don’t even zoom. Oh you would love Haida Gwaii, we lived there late 80s. 6 yrs went from there to Bermuda!lol just seeing your kids here shows you’re a great mum. My 2kids are very different personalities, but love them both and yes to be remembered as a good mum.
Hi Cindy. It's very likely that I'll end up on the mainland somewhere between BC and AB. I'd love to buy property on the island but it's just too expensive here. But who knows, I could win the lottery! 😜
Hi, Just subscribed to your channel to learn more about your van build. I have a 2021 Ram Promaster and looking for updates I should consider. I noticed in one of your videos that you replaced your rear view mirror with a camera display and have been trying to find your video about doing that. So far I have not been able to find a video of that project. Maybe you didn't make one but thought I'd ask rather than keep looking. Enjoying your videos and thank you.
Hi! I had the camera put in professionally actually. It wasn't too expensive and it's a game changer when you don't have back windows 😊. Good luck on your van adventures!
@@myBIGtinyhouselife Thanks for your reply. I have back windows however the center post blind spot and having to leave open space on the bed so not blocking the rear view is frustrating. Wish the rear view camera connected to the radio had an option to always be on but it doesn't. Enjoy your travels.
@lonnieschreiner5879 I agree that the camera that comes on these vans should have that option. Having said that, the one I put in has a much clearer picture that I think I'd have done it anyway 😊.
Mini-split heater/air conditioners do not run on anything but electricity, however, the electricity draw is rather low. Please refer to "Off Grid with Jay and Jen" UA-camrs, who within the last 6 months installed a mini-split in their offgrid cabin (as an alternate system to their wood stove). We use them in Athens Greece. One would be sufficient to heat your Tiny House. They are almost SILENT. 🤔 -V
: ) THANKS MUCH and I bought that flat panel Lamp you have, and it DOES HELP MUCH! Interesting that your Lot rent seems quite reasonable, since its $800 USD or more here :( I was looking at manufactured homes and such, but still not yet for me. The prices of Land there seems very good as well, if you can get power and water, you would be set: ) ALL the BEST and THANKS MUCH for all you do and share ! Cheers from the South ! : )
Why consider selling the van it’s a great spare room for guests, you can stay in it when you visit your kids. It’s useful even if you don’t go camping.
Wow! I'm surprised to hear you say you'd consider moving away from the ocean! Wasn't that your intention when moving from Calgary to the Island, and what has changed?
It's just too expensive to buy land here. And, if (when) grand babies arrive I'd want to be closer. It's all still to be decided. No hurry. I'm loving being here for now.
I live at a membership campground. You can buy membership plots with water and electric. Purchased from current owner with varied improvements. Vacant or with decks and snow covers…some with trailers or tiny hoses on wheels (registered as an rv) message me for more info!
I always love your Q&As and this one with the UA-cam questions came at the perfect time! I've just started my channel about living in my Tiny House - @LivingInTinyG - and your answers made me a bit more relaxed about the idea of putting my life out there 😊
I loved so much when you said your kids are people you would want to be friends with, even if you hadn't given birth to them. That shows how much common respect you have with them. You're a great mom!!
Thank you ☺️
Sophie: "There's no one else here, so I know mom's talking to me. " 🥰
LOL! 😂 🐈
Your kids are wonderful because youwere and are a wonderful mother. "The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world".
Sophies reaction when you were trying to remember a word. She was so attentive like she was thinking with you. So cute 😊
😊
Great to see you are doing better, Adelina ! Cheers!
Thank you! Cheers!
Wow, the inheritance amount was the exact amount you needed to start your tiny home adventure - not a coincidence 😊
It felt like fate for sure ☺️.
I loved this pullover of yours this colour looks so good on you and as usual your coffee cup coordinating with your outfit !
Thank you so much
Thank you for answering the Q&A's.
Any time!
Your kids are so blessed to have such a wonderful mom ❤
You are so kind 😊.

You're doing a great job yourself 🙏🏼☺️

I've had others comment about orbs too. I imagine it's my mom being my guardian angel ☺️❤️

Adelina, you look so good in that colour! Thanks for all the interesting answers to those questions.
You are so welcome!
It's always great to see your videos. Loved this one so much! 😍
Thanks 😊
My kids are grown too. I also hope they would say I was a good mother. I will truly focus on listening better. ❤❤
🙏🏼❤️
Another wonderful installment. Thanks Adelina. Cheers
