All of these great sleep tracking features are absolutely useless if your watch is charging overnight, which was my habit. Maybe if people got in the habit of charging before bed and then putting it on for sleep all would be fine. I would like to see these 2 devices compared to the Whoop and Garmin watches for a more complete picture.
Nah. The watch goes into low power mode during sleep tracking. Wake up, throw it on the charger while you shower and it’s charged up before the coffee is finished brewing. I am into the ring idea but the sleep nerds have discovered not much is more accurate than apple for sleep tracking.

Nice video and I’ve been curious about this ring. I love my Apple Watch and the Fitness app is amazing! I use the treadmill workouts while running outside, it’s so nice to have someone coaching me along the way! Makes the run so much more exciting!

Great vid! I watched so many Apple Watch versus Oura ring videos since early last year. I think I’ll skip purchasing the Oura ring again. Since I have a Withings smart scale and blood pressure cuff, I use the “Health mate” app to sync its data to the Apple Health app. The Healthmate app does provide a “Sleep score.” I have the Apple Watch Series 8. I wish it notified me when my body temperature is abnormal. I know the current temperature feature does not alert me when I know I have a fever. I use the Withings thermometer to check.
I will give you a tipp about wearing the Ring in the Gym, Just take a Glove, i do it so since the First Day and have not a Single Scratch on it. I take Bicycle Gloths with half Finger Covered and it works Perfect.

I think it is borderline extortion to require people to upgrade their perfectly good gen 2 ring to gen 3 within a certain timeframe if they want to retain a lifetime membership. My gen 2 ring was only a year a change old when given the ultimatum to upgrade. I eventually upgraded, but not within their timeframe, so I recently lost the sleep detail. Basically, you just get 3 numbers, sleep, readiness, and activity. Without min heart rate and HRV, it is almost worthless. The gen 3 ring has a pulse oximetrr, but no reports to give your doctor. Very poor service in my opinion. I used to recommend the ring to everyone, but not anymore. I will do the opposite.
How does the flat top of the Heritage make it so great? you did not mention the Horizon has an indent underneath that you can not only see but feel with a swipe of your thumb. Doesn’t that make the Horizon greater?

Did you say that apple care adds on to the first year? Because here in Europe the two years start as soon as you purchase apple care it doesn’t add on to the one year warranty. Is it different in your country? I find 2 years not really enough. 3 would be perfect.
The subscription sucks but shouldn’t be a deal breaker. Their $72 yearly subscription given what ppl spend in AW bands or 1 coffee a month isn’t the end of the world.

Apple Watch ultra charges in 30 minutes and last me 4 days without charge! I sleep and have it on all the time. Idk what you are talking about silly

@@MarS-dc2qxIn apple store sales manager told me that Apple watch 8 charging faster then Ultra… But I can tell it’s charging longer then 30 minutes
