Let’s build a proper community where all of us doing business and living in Kenya come together. Let’s be the change we want to see. www.skool.com/building-life-in-kenya-7801/about
This is really helpful . I will be in Kenya in February and I want to grown my business working online . . Maybe later get into real estate or hospitality
Try to expand your business vision to the whole East African Community instead of focusing on one single country Kenya. The opportunities are bigger than you might imagine. Best wishes from Kampala 🇺🇬✌🏽
@@gerrytushh thanks for the advice! I think I’ll visit Kampala next year again to see what I can do there for sure and evaluate some opportunities! Thanks for the eye opener 🤞🏽
@MarvinGreiffenberg1 yeah good luck. Especially when the SGR railway line reaches Kampala City in about 4 years, your plans could be ready. I think the SGR is going to be a game changer for most businesses in Uganda 🇺🇬 and Kenya 🇰🇪
@ Yes! Let’s see but for that it needs more financing! But if it’ll be finalized it’ll be a great way for more efficient logistics! That is very true 🙏🏽
I cant put my finger on why but this story is bizzarre. I guess moving to a new country with the intention of begining a business so quickly within a month or two or three makes no sense to an american. Impossible even.
We all make mistakes and it was my first business when I moved with 23 to Nairobi. Now I learned along that way and figure quite a lot of things out. Just sharing this because there are many others that think similar when they come to the continent. Thanks for sharing your thoughts 🙏🏽
@@emo7696 Mostly true but Kenya is actually one of the top countries in Africa that spend money on advertising! And it’s growing massively. It’s a huge and growing market for marketing spend! Even people in the villages get advertisements. You see everywhere big paintings from Safaricom, Inga and many other ones. Most people are also connected in any kind of way through a phone and get sms for marketing! I wouldn’t underestimate Kenya in this instance.
