- I played 100 days of Kynseed, a life sim RPG that left early access in December 2022, created by some of those who made the Fable games. It's got similarities to Stardew Valley, but you age and can play through multiple generations. Let's see what we achieved in these 100 days.

I tried to get into Kynseed, but there was just way too much for me to keep track of. I just couldn't figure out how to progress and got very overwhelmed trying to get everything done all the time.
For the farmer-RPG, Kynseed is quite very neat compare to the rest. Lot of elements seem very new and breathtaking. At first I had hard time to like it, but once everything start to fit in my head, the game is fun, very fun. It doesn't feel boring in the long run.

same! My first video was the 100 day Dinkum after I watched Floydson do it! I fell into the 100 day-type video rabbit hole and I love the fact that I found this channel as well. Such an infectious and wonderful personality to listen to :3
I was one of the backers on Kickstarter for this game. This was such a nice video, and it made me really want to dive into playing it. Having gotten in on the earliest possible access, my experience with it has been extremely disjointed, and it was great to see what it will play like all together.
i played a bit just over a year ago and didn't get along with it back then but it's definitely worth giving a go now!!

What a unique game! I saw this featured on the steam page quite a bit but it didn't quite seem like my cup of tea. This video has made me reconsider though, and I'd love to see you play more of this!

@@cedwards4455 well building rep and mostly trying to 100% it and find everyone's liked and hated gifts all item quality notes and proverbs and I did get soft locked in a file so I had to restart. I didn't buy a slingshot before buying the store and got softlocked
Thanks for introducing me to this game! It’s downloading right now so I can play it tomorrow :) I struggle with chronic pain so I’m on a lot of meds which cause a ton of horrible side effects, especially memory and concentration difficulties. I've missed playing games, I play for 5 minutes and then I'm over it but this game fixes all the issues I would have!!

The golden egg is for a quest. So keep it a while. :) As for me, I LOOOOOVE this game. I'm a retired senior and my game play is much slower than most people. So my YT videos are for a niche group of people who like to take life and games a lot slower. Great job on summarizing this game and showing 100 days and what can be done in a short period of time if power played! I feel like Kynseed is one of those games you will likely never stop playing. Maybe for a while but eventually, that call will come back. I can't wait for age 50 (I am stingy with my years and haven't given Fairweather any additional ones past the first five) and see what happens with the next generation!
I gave the game a go ages ago and pretty much forgotten that it existed. Back then it was just some basic farming stuff with alot of things labelled as 'to be added'.
It's nice to see that the game has actually grown into a respectable piece instead of fading into obscurity, forgotten and unfinished like so many of its sort.

This video introduced me to your channel. I couldn't go past the first three days on Kynseed when I tried it out last year. Seeing how the temporal mechanics work via this 100 days video makes me want to try it out again.

i so like listening to your commentary. you have a really nice voice! yours and gamergars videos are the only ones that i actually understand whats going on even when i listen to them on the background while playing stardew. the other ones i just seem to zone out and then snap back and realise i wasn't really listening and I don't know what was going on in there for past 20 to 40 minutes. im relatively new to your channel but i already feel like calling you my comfort youtuber

If you decide to do another 100 days video, i think it would be cool to see new generations of your farm, it's a very exciting aspect of this game. The advantage with the "I played X days of" is that you can easily cut stuff off if it gets repetitive. So I'd say go for it, it was nice.
What a journey, it's great run Kynseed is really came a long way from were it was developer's said they will add dialogues and a tons of more updates. Thanks Emma excited for more episodes I hope you play more farming games in future.

this game looks super overwhelming but your play through made me curious to dive in
Depending on the Era(IE the Time frame of when the game is suppose to take in IE like early 1900s or earlier) age 13 would be considered Adult enough. where can work the fields, do labor, some places even marriage, but also be up at 3 or 4am in morning and go to sleep 11 or 12 at night. but back in the day when the sun went down work was over and ppl were in homes doing dinner and going to sleep.

I was part of the Kickstarter for this game aaaaages ago and I always load up and do the first few days and then get overwhelmed so I’m excited to watch this and see how to actually play it. 😆♥️
this was part of the problem for me too! but when i do 100 days playthroughs it gives me a proper amount of time to dedicate learning what i can of the game and pass a bit of it on! hope you find it a bit easier to get through next time around! 💖

i saw this on steam a while ago but it looked really complicated and i like my games ✨simple✨ but i really enjoyed watching you play! so much so, that i actually got it and have been playing for the last couple hours 😂
it's super addictive and what i love is that for most things it's not detrimental to your progress if you dont wanna learn how to do something right away, like i probably wont be making cures very often!

still playing through kynseed myself, so only watched the first couple minutes since I'd already went through that... I'm really hoping you eventually go back and read through some of the books. most of the tutorial and "how things work" is hidden in them... (FYI: all books disappear once read... but you still can see them in your menu) but even more so, there are a LOT of amazing writing in some of them. references to social media, streamers, references to the lore and history of the world's past... there is so much information. Can't agree more with what you said early on... whoever did the writing for this game was absolutely on point and did an amazing job.
i'd love to one day but im not someone who gets along well with a load of reading at once! i know that a lot of time and effort went into writing though and the fact they've added so much substance is super cool! A few lines of dialogue and the way speech is split up im good with but longer than that and i struggle, it's one of those things that, no matter how good the writing, my attention span doesnt like!
I hope you come back to this game someday, there's been a big update since you last played it

I think the reason this game doesn't vibe well for me is because quests are fundamental to my enjoyment of a game. I want specific and varied goals, and Kynseed is very self paced and self motivated.

SVE in minecraft is on hold for the foreseeable future because it takes me a massive amount of time and would have been a full time job on its own, im not giving up on it just cant commit the time at the moment really!

imo, night and day are based on the location of the sun, so going to sleep before the sun comes up is still "last night"

Kynseed is so strange and unbalanced in ways that feel somehow intentionally given the overall tone of the game. It's an interesting experience that essentially demands you to fully buy in to what it's selling before you've had the opportunity to understand it, and perhaps even demands that you embrace the fact that you don't understand it. It's not a game that I see myself playing for much more than I already have, and yet I don't regret the time I spent with it.
I am just wondering if you know that you can block while in combat by pressing space. if you time it right you can stun monsters when they charge or sometimes even propel shots. maybe in your next 100 days!!
