you are right about the cranberries, they grow in bogs and so they do flood the bogs to harvest the cranberries, its a really interesting process actually, but also i would suggest not looking to much into it if you dont like spiders because unfortunately the spiders are necessary workers for the health of the cranberry bogs
I'm not gonna lie, the sheer amount of new items in expanded and ridgeside village had me downloading better chests and the chests anywhere mod. I usually stay away from cheaty or gamereaking mods like the tractor mods and others, but the chest mod makes sense with the expansions, especially when you're trying to befriend everyone lol

so has anyone told you about the couple of other little hidey spots on grandpa's farm yet? There's a couple near the pet house, one of the left and one on the right, behind the unchoppable trees. The other two are located at the top before you go to the woods area, one left and one right. They're there to let you decorate more places on the farm so you'll be able to grab or finish that backwoods pathway. You can also configure the extra fences on the farm off so you can have a bit more room to move around on it I also recommend checking out Odd Jobs in Ridgeside to avoid those mad animals at a cheap price
I know it’s a bit late for this playthrough, but for anyone else adding Ridgeside it’s a good idea to check out what the shops are selling especially in year 1 :)
I think villagers tell you that you smell if you have trash in your inventory. At least 2 or 3 times so far when you mentioned that, you had a bag of trash
Idk if this has been commented by someone else but the reason all the villagers say you smell is because Keahi pranked you. You should've seen a cutscene with him beforehand where he "pats you on the back", but he was actually putting something really smelly on your clothes.

But this is so fun to see in how many ways this game can be expanded on top of already a huge amount of content so the gameplay can last for YEARS, I'm still shocked about the price of this game. Your videos inspired me to play SVE and I started a farm with my brother, and it's the first time in years that we've managed to do something nice and collaborative together (sibling fighting to the death lol). Also added some more mods over time and it has been really nice. We are both not super social, so I'm only really starting to talk with a lot of characters in the second year, while we have already finished the community center xD If we ever start another farm together or both lose interest in how things are currently, these extensions look like a lovely way to experience new things :D

Your problem with the path piece at the end - that's what those little secret paths on the farm are for. So you can reach the edges of your farm to decorate without leaving the map.
There's a *lot* of good NPC's but I've yet to find someone who beats out Sophia for me. She's v much my type and her story is so *so* good, you wanna talk inclusive and hard topics dive down her storyline (highly recommond) Also this feels like it needs Free Love (the mod) and a "how many people can we marry by end of 3rd year" challenge.
Okay I know the ads don't normally match up but when she said she was lost in the woods it popped up with a horror movie ad that started with GET OUT so that's well timed thought for a moment that it was part of the mod like a jumpscare type thing
The flickering of some objects might be because of Ridgeside village's FTM file? I was having an issue recently where the assets for you that were flickering straight up weren't showing up for me. The issue was solved by me redownloading the mod (even though it hadn't been updated in the space of time since my last download) and that helped since it reset the FTM file and doesn't interfere with anything you've already done
Regarding the items clipping in the Amethyne mansion, we have that too so I'm wondering if its just an issue with the mod? Also highly DO NOT recommend adding SVE, Ridgeside and East Scarp on a co-op game, cause between the sheer size of the map, and all of the events/cutscenes you get sometimes get so little done in a day if you leave Pelican town due to no time pausing in multiplayer. Also some cutscenes triggered by the host can cause the other player(s) to be forced to watch the cutscene too, which is fine except for when it happens on your way home at 1am and by the time its finished its well past 2 and you both just pass out
managed to fix the clipping by reinstalling ridgeside, and installing sprite master which also helps load times (not sure which fixed the clipping but it's good now!). as for co-op, thanks for the tip! absolutely makes sense
I think my favourite Modded NPc is Victor. He's such a sweet bean. As for favourite Now romanceable person due to SVE is The Wizard, Magnus Rasmodius. He's a bit awkward at times but i love him nonetheless plus he teaches you magic

It’s a maybe for sure! I only really started playing it again to test some different settings because it was giving me severe motion sickness (like, would play less than 30 mins then would need to lie down to avoid throwing up), but once I found my settings I hyperfixated 😂 if I do I would probably reset to do it

i write them whilst editing! i tried taking a couple of notes to help me as i go along but it ruins my flow when im trying to focus on playing so it really is a case of scrubbing through all of the footage. most other creators probably dont do it this way but it's what works best for me! ^.^ funnily enough... currently doing some of that as we speak!
i usually do: first year - cc, gifts and in case board asks for them second year: cooking/crafting ingredients third year onwards: money, or if i just feel like growing something!

If you want to be REALLY out of control as a loot goblin use the Item Bags mod. Bags that hold items that go in your rucksack.

How did you get the forest sword? When you can't access those woods until you have upgraded your ax?
you can get them from crates in the mines or from boss slimes too :)
