Fans always complain that the current engines are too quiet. Yeah, because 140 decibels (10 times louder than thunder, by the way) isn't loud enough... The current engines are 10 times quieter than the V10s, but they're still loud enough to deafen you if the sound is sustained for a good 10 seconds, but it's not, because the cars are passing by you at a high speed.
The racing today is so awful and so boring, where as back in 2000s refueling was brilliant and the sounds were what made racing a race. Nowadays it's eco friendly shit, which so boring because not everyone is bothered about eco friendly racing. Its ran by eco terrorists too.

At least hopefully with the removal of MGU-H in 2026 we might get the sound of the 80's v6 back, because I believe it's the main thing dampening the sound.
@@officialezzy6801 you can be a fan of F1 but still shit on the sound. Yes they are the fastest cars on a track. They still could be with a V8 or V10. Sound is a huge part of the spectacle.
Maybe your definition of fan is not the same as mine. Fan is different from "person who likes F1 but wish it was 2004 again" For me atleast. Im also a Slipknot FAN, and with that i like them for their music old and new. Its different but will always be great. F1 was great, F1 is great. And it is 2022.

They’ve changed back to the waste gate exhaust joining with the exhaust itself this year, the cars this year actually have higher rpm
