I think I do prefer Village Chris over 7 Chris. Chris in 7 felt like he was a bada** but not much else... while in Village he still feels like a bada** (Not as much as in 7 but still is one) but also has more depth in his character. Though... his character model makes me want to know... what the frick happened to him between 7 to Village?! Great video as usual man! 😁👍

I am not sure why they changed the character model so much from RE5 in RE7. I would assume that they were going for a more realistic look in RE7 but after the fan backlash they switched him back to look more like RE5 and RE6 in Resident Evil Village. I think they nailed the character model in Resident Evil Village. I love the Chris is Resident Evil Village….better than RE7.

@@HelpMeLeon i think in re7 they were testing the facial capture tech so that’s why he looks different

So the bare hand melee makes RE5 canon with all the BOW punching & the big professional upgrades in Chris's mannerisms in RE8. He's less cocky rookie, more worldly career vet in the current iteration. Can't wait for his next appearance alongside Rose Winters (or Leon, equally hyped for both) 🤘 Kickass video, even just catching up late on them

@@HelpMeLeon True, I've never been disappointed or mislead by your videos. Its some crazy software gore stuff that recently stopped popping up on my feed (ex: random obvious vine/clickbait thumbnail paired with a random video I'd watch. WhatCulture, CaptainEggcelent, Dodo, even your own video has popped up with a mismatched thumbnail/title) Its probably an update or regional thing, no worries 👍

I love the way Chris looks in RE8 the village thats how I picture him as 2 look like. x2
Chris voice was cool in re7 just looked weird and different from his original re5 and re6 look while village chris is basically Carlos just look like his re5&6 model

RE 8 Chis looks very ewird to me, RE 7 Chris looks more like the original.
How? RE7 Chris looks nothing like any other iteration of Chris, except MAYBE
RE1 but even that's a stretch.
@@_T.M.G_ and RE8 looks nothing to other iterations of chris maybe RE 5, but Chris in RE 7 looks exactly like chris in RE 1
@@General_Vaderz Chris in REmake, Revelations, RE5, RE6 and RE8 all look like they're the same person. You can even see the resemblance to RE1, they all look like a logical evolution of his character's physicality. But RE7 Chris looks like a failed clone. The only reason he looks somewhat similar to RE1 Chris is because he looks younger, but facially he looks like an entirely different person.
To say RE7 Chris looks "exactly" like RE1 Chris is a bit of a reach tho. Now, Piers, from RE6? Could be RE1 Chris's twin brother.
