The Jackie Robinson Family YMCA Thunder Squad Drumline celebrated it's One Year Anniversary at GIVE ME THE BEAT! A sold-out gymnasium recognized the amazing accomplishments to date of this first-year program with dinner and plenty awards. Renown author and motivational speaker D.L. Carpenter inspired all before R & B sensation Jon B performed. International percussionist P.O.P. Price "the hands for Nick Cannon" in the movie Drumline was among those in attendance.
