Was playing mostly casually, but wanted to try ranked and get up. Currently Plat with Kurumi/Ziping focusing on team support and the Kurumi one is definitely better than default for team support, but i think im missing something. Your videos are very helpful and made me understand the game better (Definitely best channel for guides and mechanics i found yet), but cant find some on "how to team fight" and positioning when you play different role. Found that as im higher and higher, teams tend to focus down supports and setup heroes, but dont know how to properly defend against it if you miss counter and arent that good skillwise like peoples like me.
Gah, same here. Playing support is hard the higher up you go- It’s difficult too, bc I love supports more than an aggressive play style. I’d second a supports guide of any kind!
@@Kairi-ouDefinitely. Also Penemue mentioned he plays p3 supports (Kurumi) and setters. Also had video about positions in team as one of latest. Would be really nice to have separate for each one because as you mentioned hard supports (healers) play differently than setters or dps focused chars.
i think that if you play a healer or tank aka Zippin Yi , you should go LEFT branche in the Green Tree . Grapple speed is not what you need at all , but the stamina recovery on the left side is way better if you want to survive .
in solos, grappling distance is very strong. you can run away and catch enemies way better. being the only player in the lobby that doesn't have grappling distance puts you at a massive disadvantage. in trios, in the old glyph system, people used to play Ziping with 2 dodges (full initial rage, skill cooldown or shop, rage/damage and rage/s, zero energy glyphs) and since her F1 gives her a free dodge, it was enough. in this context, i don't see a strong use case for the left tree on ziping. there are some zipings that run it and ultimately, it is a matter of preference, but i think there are better options
Over a period of 20 seconds the stamina tree gives you a whopping 1 extra dodge, so its is pretty useless. The grapple distance is significantly better as it allows you to catch up to your opponents a lot faster or run away easier
there is narakaautoreplays (NBAR) on youtube, this takes stream VODs from chinese platforms and uploads them to youtube. but you have to go through the vods yourself to research stuff

faf died around 2016 when micro got removed and jaggedappliance killed balance by making all units equally strong so it doesn't even matter what you build anymore, you're good as long as you have more than your enemy. i won't play community-managed games anymore, games are best managed by professionals, not by fans who cause them to self-destruct these asian games challenge my brain more than the wasteland that's left where faf once was. i would recommend you to try them out, but if your PC can't run a game from 2007, i'm afraid it won't be enough for naraka either enjoy your -6 speed dual gap game i guess :( edit: typo

Grappling speed isn't strong but grappling distance is, that's why we take it. The extra energy nodes on the left branch are skippable on any character but tarka. Viper and kurumi can take them optionally.
Agree. It's also a bad idea to take max stamina on all characters and get used to it. This builds the bad habit of wasting dodges, which will be problematic once you switch to a more competitive-minded build later on

They ruined it, glyphs used to be so cool and unique. It felt like you could truly customize your character. But this is lame
I don't see it this way. Playing on 2 dodges in trios on most characters was not a good experience. It's much better with a minimum of 3 dodges

Taking the full stamina tree gives you 1 extra dodge every 20 seconds, compared to the grapple distance this is completely useless

I use more stamina then grappling if you’re slow you will lose more fights than you win
