Either way, good video, if I hadn't discovered all these already myself, most of them would have me loading up the game yet again.

I am a total vet in this game, started playing at launch, Oblivion before that.
And this very week I found out something new that I rly believe that very few people know.
If you get your enchanting skill to master before starting the main quest, you get a secret dialogue with Farengar.
After Balgruf tells you to go help Farengar with his project (retrieving the Dragon Stone), instead of waiting for Balgruf to speak to him, you go ahead and speak first. Farengar will ask what do you want 2 times. If you juat say Balgruf sent you, first he will mock you, and in the second time he will get angry at you.
Now when he does that, if you mastered enchanting, you get a dialogue option that criticizes the safety of his enchanting lab. He will be very surprised and stop being angry, recognizing you as a coleague.
      Did you know this one?

    • @Cleanpup108
      @Cleanpup108 Рік тому +4

@S.T.G. I'll admit this is rare, but I've seen it, the same thing happens when you master your alchemy before speaking to farengar just a different dialog option. Also with destruction mastery unlocks a different one as well

Downside to Killing Astrid. If you go with Destroy the Dark Brotherhood, you miss out on some of the best designed quests in the game and the great challenges. You have a unique bow you can obtain (Firiniel's End), access to two master level trainers (Babette for Alchemy and Nazir for Light Armor) and probably the best horse in Skyrim, Shadowmere. He's fast, fights better than any other horse, has a higher health and regenerates it faster. He can be killed but unlike other horses in the game he will respawn in 10 game days. Plus if you're wearing Nightingale Armor or Daedric Armor, you just look deadly awesome on top of that red eyed black stallion. Finally, if you finish the "Bound Until Death" quest you get a free follower, The Spectral Assassin, who is the ghost of Lucien Lachance from the Oblivion game. Plus you can summon him along with another without getting the Twin Souls perk from Conjuration if you get it up to 100.

i second this aswell. i played this game for the first time six months after it came out and it was the most memorable experience i had because the first adventure i had was a blast because it started with me going straight from riften to the ancient ruins straight away without any afformentioned knowledge about the game beyond everyone says its great so my anticipation was high. after a lengthy and awe inspiring go of the snowy mountain sides then discovering the falmer below i was impressed and was amazed at the depth games can get to by intelligent developers. to top it off i kept going deeper and deeper then suddenly i reached blackreach. it was my first experience and i was so enthralled by it that despite how amateur i was at the time in gaming in general i simply couldnt allow it to dismay me from thoroughly exploring every nook and cranny of the joint. i was not disapointed. favourite single player game ever since.

There’s a way to defeat the frost giant with no effort. After placing his skull on the throne turn back and climb by jumping against the wall to the right. When you are high enough so he can’t reach you and bombard him with arrows or spells as long he’s not immune to them. After defeating him you gets the reward to summon him likes you said, but only for three times. After that you have to defeat him again.

3:08 You need 8 masks to get Konahriik, not 9. The Wooden Mask I suppose could technically be considered a 9th but since it's not one of the busts, and it's literally right on the ground at the busts, I don't count it. It's very easy to miss one though, because it's on the dragon priest that guards the entrance to Sovngarde, and you only get one shot at grabbing it. So if you try to get sneaky with Whirlwind Sprint or Slow Time or something and sprint through the portal before the priest closes it, you've missed your only chance at obtaining his mask, and thus miss out on Konahriik as well.
5:14 To easily beat Karstaag, obtain Ahzidal's Ring of Arcana from Kolbjorn Barrow to get the Ignite spell, and use that on Karstaag. It's weak, but stacks *indefinitely* so just keep blasting him with it over and over and keep your distance, letting the damage over time do its thing. That 4 damage per second for 15 seconds will start adding up fast. You can make this even more stupidly OP by taking the perks Apprentice Destruction (half casting cost), Dual Cast and Impact (keep him stun locked), Augmented Flames (even more damage). Throw up a Flame Cloak to repel the Ice Wraiths, then just keep your distance and pelt him with dual-cast Ignite over and over. You can drop him in under a minute.

    The Magical Tramp...
You have no house, rough clothing only and alteration for 300 armour, magic resist stone, quest (in riften temple) and the Alteration perk.
Illusion for silent casting and Enchanting for many different ultra light sets of gear for different situations. You could fast forward through small soul grinding (crabs) and woodcutting early on.
You take a while to do the quest in the barrow, so you spend your time in the first stages of your journey picking cabbages, gourd and potatoes and selling them to your local farmers* for some small change and looking around other towns to find easy quests and reward.
You are known as that tramp that people see travelling but not actually known... you become The Dragonborn after some traveling, much to everyone's suprise. 😮

Ugh! The 24 stones of Barenziah!! You don't need to get them; just go get the crown and one or two easy stones. That will complete the quest and get those dang stones out of your inventory. They take up weight at a .5lb each!!! Google where the crown is. I did this and it works fine.
