​@@davidschembri65 you have to replace the upper strut mount bushings and yes it can be dangerous if you don't know how to safely use coil compressors.
It's safer and far easier to have it done at a shop cause they have the right tool to do it safely and efficiently but home mechanics don't have that type of convenience. so most people just end up getting a new strut assembly cause it's technically quicker/safer and less expensive than taking it to a shop.
