- In this advanced level tutorial, I take you through the steps of drafting a basic bodice sloper using the 2D workspace in Vstitcher.
I apologize in advance for using "inches" to refer to some measurements, all measurements in this video are taken in centimeters.
The pattern book that I am using is called, "Metric Pattern Cutting for Women's Wear" By Winifred Aldrich. If you are interested in purchasing this book, below is the direct Amazon Associates link:

This is gold. Pure gold. I've been trying to understand this book and how to imply it to Vstitcher. This is an absolutely very clear and well-directed tutorial without any bu||shi/t! I would like to see more of these pattern-making tutorials on Vstitcher. Many thanks!
This is amazing!! Thank you so much for doing these, Afsha and Browzwear!!! Sharing!

You're the best
hi dear, how to free scale all the garment in vstitcher? i can not quick scale it:(
I am not a designer and just learning this software so this question may sound completely ignorant but is there any way to simply trace the template in the book using the pen tool and then adjust the (3d) measurements in Vsticher based on my spec sheet?
You can bring the image of the pattern in as artwork, apply it to a square/rectangle pattern piece, lock it, and trace it to create a pattern shape. You will then be able to edit the points to change the measurements.
