Denise, months (maybe even a year ago) you gave me the confidence to try my first loom knit. While I've not done a lot of output (a few hats, that you taught me! a granny square cardigan, and a blanket) honestly you've helped me way more than anyone else!

Thank you so much for this video. I love not only the fact that you showed it so clearly but also that you showed how the written pattern would mark these stitches.

Thank yo so so much for this! I have learned everything from you. You are a really great teacher and make things so easy to understand. It takes a special kind of person to have the ability to effectively teach someone. Keep up the great work! I'm looking forward to learning much more! Big hugs from California. 💕

Oh and...my name is actually Cyndi. My boys thought it was a hilarious idea to change my YT name to what it is currently and now I am stuck with it for the next 90 days. 😕 guess I need to change my password a little more often. Don't worry, I will get revenge.

Thanks for symbols; I believe I will finally remember it since ssk does not really make sense in loom knitting but just remember the slant of the stitch!

I think I got it. If I am knitting clockwise the K2TOG goes to the left bec it goes away from u, if I am knitting clockwise and I do ssk then I move 2 to 1 towards me. It makes a difference in the direction of ones knitting. Did I get it?

    Hi Denise,
I'm definitely the odd man out here!
I'm trying to do a lace pattern which requires sk2p between 2 yarnovers. I can' find a video to show me how to do it on a loom. It's not in your book. Can you help?
    Arthur

Thxs Denise when u do this it makes sense but if it reads ”ssk-yo” I would want to slip peg 2 to 1 and then do yo after but u r saying move peg 1 to 2 so it slants to left. If it reads yo k2tog I would move 1 to 2 and YO would be first but it would slant to left. I am pulling my hair wht am I missing? Yikes

Thank you for this video. But my pattern says (k2tog),yo,(k2tog)yo,(k2tog),y,k4 1st time doing a pattern like this. I usually watch videos. Been looming for years. But I have many patterns that I could do. Cloudy morning hat on cindwood loom site I down loaded it many years ago

Hi Catherine, in general I really don’t like giving advice on another designer’s pattern… but it should mean that (starting with the first 2 pegs) you’re putting the loop on the right on the the peg to the left, knit them together and yarn over the empty peg. Repeat the two more times … knit the last 4 pegs. The issue with my explanation is that idk why the k2tog is in parentheses. Again, your best bet is the original designer or the pattern video of it has one.

It's on the cindwood loom page. It's free pdf

It's a crazy pattern because round one just says k10. Then round 2 p10. Then she sometimes says rows. Is rounds and rows mean the same I always thought they did. Could I be wrong.
