I have tried this method but it just broke off very easy even with the sculpey adehesive/bakenbond. I found a better way which was to bake the stud together between the clay and added layer. That was just my experience.

I do use the same method, but you have taught me me a new trick =-ie punching a small hole in the smller disc to allow the post to come through. Well done. Thank you.

How long do you bake them? When I do this and bake them it changes the color of my front clay.
