I Scanned a WHOLE Book to E-Book. This is how I did it!

If you've ever wondered how ebooks are made, wonder no more, they're done with a book scanner, like this one. And in this video I find out how long it takes to convert a 300 pages book to an Ebook.

Scanning is just beginning.1-What is Scan Dpi resulation (600dpi-1200 dpi?) 2- What about page correction? Pages look curved.3-What about OCR (Transfer to Word docx file). It is neccessary to make epub or mobi. Pdf is not Ebook format, sory. Can you tell me this devices max dpi for TIFF (not jpeg). Because Best OCR needs good scan result. Thank you

Thank you for the test! Very nice of you to document this and so well!
So this comes to around 5 seconds per page plus the conversion. Not bad but since it requires manual page turning: is that really faster/better than using a smartphone, which should be around 1 sec/page - which in turn can make quite the difference if we are talking multiple books.
Arguably, besides positioning/flattening a phone only is an option where images or PDFs are the intended end-result. It cannot do OCR.

Does the finished ebook work with "Read Out loud" options so I can hear it read?

I was told by someone for the price you pay those are junk, But if it only takes a 1 hr or so.. Personally i just use a IPHONE & the Notes app, The only problem is you can only do 20 pages at a time, & takes a bit longer as your taking image by image & then uploading it & all that so for big books its quite lengthy. If only i could afford such a device. Honestly i'd love to have one of those huge anysize book ones but that be like thousands of bucks.
