I met colin just before the afternoon run of the sleeping warrior stage. What an amazing guy he is, we had a quick chat and took a selfie. He even gave me a cool pair of dirtfish stickers. This moment will live long in my memory

It can't be said too many times what a treat it is to have these weekends accompanied by Colin and Dirtfish! And what a weekend! Kalle is absolute brilliant and when everything is working like this weekend he is in his own league for sure. Taka keeps on showing that he can easily match the favourites in terms of pace, and seemingly in trigger discipline as well. Chenny said it well, Taka needs to get recognition for beeing a serious podium contender for all events this season. And gearbox gate, wow. Fourmaux really impressing and with great positive vibes, happy to see M-sport very much beeing in the game!

In testing he was only a few tenths off the circuit record.

@@rallycrosscraig yes definately, been involved in motorsport for thirty years now, rally, rallycross, F1, formula E and endurance racing, rallying was definately the most satisfying and enjoyable, nothing better than the car coming in with corners hanging off and turning it around in 20 mins, great memories

Congrats to Neville for fighting spirit despite encountering many issues ,he has managed to get 19 points. It's work in progress for the i20 in safari rally. Hope they get it right next year, other wise it's back into the winning way next in Croatia. Best wishes

In the past rallies of the 1980s and 1990s when it was a guarantee for the long rains to pour down in March and April, the East African Safari Rally had longer routes in Kenya if i am not wrong 😎🤔! When we had the likes of "Shekhar Mehta", "Juha Kankkunen", Bjorn Waldegaard", "Patrick Njiru", "Colin McRae" etc....

for me, today, the true King was Thierry; with the enormous mechanical problems, he was a real lion to take home 19 world championship points

Told you folks, Kenya is simply Toyota Country, this is where the Toyota god's reside, it's like Toyota's were designed for this country 😅, Msport was just lucky to be in the podium but big ups👍, Toyota rule's🎉🏆
I was there 1986 and Bjorn Waltergard in the Toyota Celia won .. it was a super tough rally back then

It was nice to see toyota have their day in the sun but hyundai will be back to winning in Croatia just like Sweden and Monte.

Had Thierry not had his problems and how he drove these past few stages, he would have annihilated the field
at least finishing second !!!! eh was damn good until the engine created issues yesterday ....damn it . Hope he still can win the world championship this year
Neuville was the real beast by extending his championship lead even after multiple set backs that weren't his fault.

While Kalle's drive was superb, let's not forget Sebastien Ogier won twice against Kalle in the same team and same car. Goes to show how great Ogier is to achieve that.

the real king of africa is takamoto katsuta......he never finished below the top five.....without rovenpera....katsuta would have won this....
