as usual an excelent diagnostics. I have a special love for these apms. they used to call these the alpine surf board, i had a pair of these back in 2001 when they were new. one amp going to 2 12w4 jl audio and the other to a boston acoustics 3 way seperates set. no rear speakers and my 99 maxima sounded excellent.

Have 2 dual xpe2700 on flickers on and off doesn’t stay on and another has a low hissing sound coming out of the speakers when you play it and if you have vol down is it better getting new ones or repairing
I have a m v are f357 a lot smaller than butt you are working on would it be worth your time to try to fix it it has power but just has no sound coming out it's a V12
Hi, i have exact problem on mine. I shorted the speaker terminals out by accident. What zener didoes did you use i tried to find the part number in the service manual but they too old to find. What spec zener diods would work fine as a replacement in terms of whats and voltage. Thanks in advance sir.
I was going to take on the job of repairing my own Alpine MRP-M2000 but I am having quite a bit of trouble finding some of the parts now that most have been discontinued. I cant find any repair shops anywhere around me and Alpine has been no help at all. I'd really like to send it to you for repair and see the video on it afterwards if you'd be interested? I'll pay for the shipping and the parts/labor of course.

Make sure when your done with this amp to do a full sweep and tune
