Red: 06 SRT8 51k miles. Mopar CAI, diablo-sport 91 CAI tune, Corsa exhaust 450hp

I love Borla exhausts. I installed a cat-back Borla exhaust system, on my 1989 Corvette. Man, that thing would give me a woody, every time I hit the gas!
had em both, cant drive with a borla for more than an hour without going batshit crazy with that drone... corsa sounds like a nascar.
ive been in jeeps with borla and I couldnt agree more..
Deep is good till the higher rpm's then it drowns out. That's where Corsa shines.
Hard to choose.... each has its own beauty !!!

Both gorgeous Jeeps!!! I think I prefer the deeper note of the Borla.. I saw the vid of the red SRT8 doing starts and roll on and the Corsa sounds really good there though. Would love the see/hear a similar vid of the black STR8 to hear the Borla in a similar conditions (i.e. driving). Thanks for posting!
I don't know what it is.. but I love the V8 roar so much better than V6's.. It just sucks that they are soon going to be the only thing available, and V8's will be dead. :/

Very nice sound of Borla.
Always love the sound of the CORSA with no interior drone . For what it's worth though the comparison is heavily SKU'd in favor of the Black SRT8 and Borla system for total sound because of the Supercharger and 200HP difference. There's a pretty healthy difference in build there. Here are some others links with SRT8s and more mods with a CORSA exhaust that might give a better comparison.

@GordonStudent yea I agree most people prefer borla over all other systems , but I love corsa, it just has a more exotic sound to it. And barley any drone on the highway.

borla might be louder around town, but when you get on it with the corsa, it just sounds so much more exotic though. You can tell corsa did there homework to get that sound

Give me the borla on this one. I'm just wondering if the larger termination on the borla made it sooo much deeper than the corsa. Corsa sounds like a mustang though.
I believe the general consensus is Borla sounds the best hands down, at least everyone I spoke to agrees as do I. However because of the drone, most people really hate the hwy cruising speeds with it because it's so bad.

No question the Borla sounds deeper and meaner. The problem is the massive drone the system has. I'm just lost with what cat back to get in the future. My exhaust will be bone stock for a while. BTW he obviously has A LOT more than a V3 kit and a cat back for 650HP. I have the same blower with a 30 tooth gear and no way am I even close to 600. Must have cam, heads or something I imagine?
The borla is much deeper, so when listening to it on normal built in comp speakers it sounds not as good. Listen to it on a full 2.1 system with a sub or better, some nice headphones.
I have the same red truck with borlas on them. Borlas are better. Nice trucks guys

it depends on what you like, theyre two different sounds for sure
me personally, the corsa sounds like shit at idle, and that goes for most models sporting a corsa exhaust, that chugga chugga noise crosses the line from sexy performance into the car sounding like its about to die, at idle of course

Drone in corsa really isn't nothing that serious.. Borla is better, corsa is good but those fart noise as gear switches is very irritating.
I personally love the fart noise. As two of the cars in my household have dct transmissions they also fart during aggressive shifts. Adds to the experience aha
