- The Share Sheet opens your ipad to the world. It’s designed to let you share documents, websites, and most anything on your ipad with anyone else. It also lets you save and print documents, and just a multitude of things. But honestly, it can be a little confusing. I use the share sheet all the time. I did not realize that it was called “share sheet”

Rich, I love your teaching methods. I'm a self taught 75 year old Apple guy, which includes, Imac m-1, Iphone 12 pro, Ipad pro, Macbook Pro, Apple TV, along with my wife's devices which are all Apple. I've learned so much from your videos I want to thank you! I've noticed in a couple of your videos that you use Spark email, if I remember correctly I used it in the past. I can't tell you why I stopped, but just wondering why you use it rather than Apple email?

Good morning Rich! I have learned so much about Apple products. I accidentally put a photo/ video of myself on my son’s S/V Varrey trip. Could you please let me know how I can delete it?
I’ve just spent a happy half hour matching photos to friends in my Contacts list, after seeing this. I have also been using the Share Sheet without knowing the name. I like to print tickets for events or travel. Otherwise, one day my iPhone will run out of battery charge just when I need to use it!

Hi Rich. I found you recently. You have great videos. Keep the hard work. We appreciate you sharing such important topics with us. You brought up today a subject that I am still stuck with and it is related to the share sheet. But what happened when you don’t find the app you want to share your file to. Yes, there is an option to add additional apps (the three dots) but when I have the whole list of apps to pick or add to the options to share I don’t find in that list the app that I want. Example, I used the GoodNotes app, but I have not found a way to add that app to the general list available to add for sharing. Thank you for your time. If I find it I will sure share it with you. I can't tell you how many times the app I wanted to share with was not in the Share Sheet. But the truth is there are some apps you can't share to. At least not using the share sheet. But believe it or not, it's getting better all the time. As iPad use grows, developers are fixing their apps to be use in the Share Sheet. I guess we'll just have to be patient. I told my wife I'll probably be dead before some of the apps are fixed!
If an app doesn't show up, it most likely means it doesn't support that functionality. Nothing you can do about it. You just have to wait for the developers to include that functionality.
Hi rich! I was wondering how to add an app in the share sheet? I know you can click the icon titled “more”, and tap the edit option to remove or add apps, but what if the app I want to add is not there? I know I can put the app I want to add, Minecraft, in the share sheet, but I don’t know how.

Is there a way to make a photo smaller when yo tap print on the share sheet on my Apple ar. It always prints larger Han the pape for me
I'm not sure exactly what's going on. My guess is it's a printer setting. There might be a "scaling" feature in the print menu that you could change so that the photo prints as expected. Hope this helps.
