"not one inch" was a lie to start with. this russia-amerikkka proxy war in ukraine is meant to happen, as far as washington is concerned. everyone calls this proxy war an avoidable war which isn't true bc amerikkka/nato always intended to expand all the way to Russian borders even as the 'not one inch' was "promised" to Gorbachev, Yeltsin, Putin.
      Lesson to Russia:
Rule no.1, never trust amerikkka. NEVER NEVER NEVER !

India is really the weakest link in BRICS. It's a snake. India is willing to bow down the US and join AUKUS to spite China. The fact that India even showed up to the clown show, and then have the audacity to then say it was a stupid idea, goes to show how ambivilant India is. Nobody is oblivious to the fact that India is walking on both sides. China, on the other hand, has fully committed to Russia and BRICS, no if, and, or but about it.

At 2:59: The West and all the other countries that jumped on the bandwagon and joined Washington's sanctions against Russia have to lift all of these sanctions because they are illegal. The only party that can legally impose international sanctions is the UNSC. Nobody else has the right to do it. So by imposing sanctions on Russia the US and all the other countries that the US has forced to impose sanctions on Russia, the EU, most of the individual countries that are in the wake of the US such as Japan, South Korea etc., they broke international law. So they have to make things right, they have to remove these sanctions, they have to pay reparations for the damaged that they caused to the Russian economy with these sanctions. (Lavrov notified Swiss representatives that the long planned meeting there was unacceptable because Switzerland lost its neutrality by joining anti-Russian sanctions; Switzerland can no longer act as an intermediary in good faith.) ~ Dmitry Orlov
At 21:08: On August 11th the Ukrainian Parliament ceases to exist. So without an executive and without a legislature Ukraine no longer has a federal government, and power devolves to the regions. At that point all the individual regions can hold public referenda and decide to join Russia if they so wish. ... Eventually it might happen to just about all of them, perfectly legal according to the UN Charter, according to international law. Everybody would have to recognize this eventually whether they like it or not, and the US would then be pretty much out of the picture. ... The big loser in all of that (trying to let the West live well off of Russian assets for another 30 years) is Washington and the EU. ~ Dmitry Orlov

I agree with your forecast of the outcomes of the conflict, especially in terms of the fate of the territories, including Odessa, that is now the focus of much speculation, as well as your take on President Putin's position vis-a-vis the issue of 'negotiations.' Very interesting discussion between two intelligent communicators. On positive side, I am glad Dmitry completely squashed the absurdity of negotiations. He referred to Professor Sachs but could equally have included virtually all the current commentators, from Chris Hedges to Alexander Mercouris. Theirs is 'well meaning' liberalism, totally sitting in the middle (Ochs, Love me, I'm a Liberal). On negative side, a. I hope, but was not convinced, Dmitry actually interpreted President Putin correctly, many in Russia have less confidence in how positive he will be, and b. (contradicting perhaps point a.) Putin has spoken of Kharkov and Odessa at least being Russian. I did not understand Dmitry to say this and although he gave reasons why it could be the case, there is no link here to Putin's speech.

Dmitriy misspoke @3:30 when he said that "US Security Council has the rights to impose the sanctions", I believe he meant the UN Security Council.

@@terefefeyssa877GOAT is an abbreviation. In English it means Greatest of All Times. But in Russian slang it’s a dirty word for a man (obscenity). In normative Russian it means “a goat”. So it is cultural misunderstanding. Так что это похвала, а не оскорбление. ❤
