Technics keyboards was really interesting machines. Technics is a flagship brand of Panasonic. Panasonic probably retreated from keyboard market in mid 2000's because it wasn't such big business than all other home entertainment gadgets....? I had Technics KN1400 in early 2000. It has pretty decent basic sounds and quite good sound modify options, and most of all, it was really easy to use. We can only imagine, what would be the new Technics keyboards today in a year of mercy 2024, if still manufactured...?
Maybe a more thorough view of the manual would have helped you in creating this video. One touch play is a very important feature in setting up the various parameters when listening to arrangement rhythms.
I agree, I think because users had less processing power they had to be more creative and inventive back then. I've always believed that technical limitations bring out the best in us!
I own the PSR SX900 and the Technics KN6000. I can tell you there are many sounds in the Technics that are better than the PSR. all of the drums for example are much punchier and more powerful. even the basses are stronger and more powerful. - You can create you own custom drum kit using ANY of the drum samples in the KN6000 PLUS you can edit and tweak each individual sample... There is also far more sound editing available in the Technics (synth level editing - per oscillator / sample)
So much work went into this cheezy thing!
Not cheesy if in capable hands...

Great technology and sound beyond its era.
Agree. The potential is huge.
Great video as always! Technics has some nice keyboards.
Appreciate the comment! Thanks :)
I just saw one of these pop up on Marketplace 😊i may buy it just for the first/signal input effects alone. Is $200 a good price?
Yes, I think $200 is a bargain 👍
@@gearfactsno, $200 way too overpriced. btw., can you pass me the link to that $200 offer please? PLEASE!!!!! 😂
Nice Video. 🙋♂️🎹
Cheers Marcus
Just bought a KN7000 and finding my way around it.
There's a lot that isn't exactly 'intuitive' in this one :)
This board is way ahead of its time, and preceded the Tyros
Yep a agree. It does a bit of everything
Just bought one for my daughter 🎉 29$ on marketplace. Thanks for the video!
Am I reading that right - $29???
Yes you did 😁 I can see it was a very good purchase 🫣 its old, but it works just fine 🙂
Wow!Great!👍♥️👍
Thank you 🤗

You’re right. After nearly 2000 videos I’m sooo fatigued with manuals. With the whole shabang actually. Best I could do :/
Some of these older keyboards have better presets than today's keyboards .

@@gearfacts Agreed 👍
Good presentation!❗❗ By the way does anybody know how to reset factory a Technics KN 600...in case of...? thanks
To do a Hard Reset: Turn off keyboard and wait 10 seconds. Hold down button for Latin, World, and Custom and switch on.
@@gearfacts Thanks for your reply but on KN 600 [ and not 6000], there is no World nor custom buttons, but latin , yes..so....🤔🤔
can i record my performance in there?
Yes
1:How do I split it in to two parts?
2: how do I add harmony to sound?
Can you sample possibly the Modern Ep and one synth bass for me please i will buy
Danke!
Welcome!
I'll take her! Send it to me! 😆😜 Clunky, bulky, cheesy. I love it!
haha yeah that synth example I was trying to make.... was really hoping for less cheese! But hey, it made the point as far as a demo is concerned :)
the sound is awfull compared to yamaha psr-sx …thanks for sharing though…will not buy this keyboard
That’s why I make these reviews :) Gkad it was helpful
Idiotic comment, sx series is in the Pa700-1000 category, Kn6000 is over 20 yrs old lol and has one of the best Epiano sounds

@@itsnickg yep has many features! Unlike the sx! Childrens keyboard haha
@@itsnickg Wow, I did not know that! To be honest I've never played any of the PSR-SX series. This is surprising and interesting information...
