Are you using magnet for this trigger system? I wanted to do something similar, but I can't work my head around without having to use magnet.

Yes. i used magnets for simple trigger system. This is simpler version than those of David C. Roy.
Near future, if i upload how to make video, you can easily find out how the magnet trigger works.
