- I've decided to try out the new ICRO waterborne products on a refinish job. I love to test new products, and would like to share what I found after doing a complete kitchen refinish with this stuff.
Products used.
2K Primer 415
2K Topcoat 5000
Catalyzed 10%
Sprayed unreduced with HVLP Cup gun, 1.3 needle, and Kremlin Spray gun with both the 06 and 09 tips.
Sorry for the long rambling video, but here are the results. Hope it can help someone!
To watch this kitchen refinish in action where I tried out these products, check out the videos on my Instagram page @cabinetfinishing

Thank you!
I really appreciate your videos!
Glad you like them!
I saved this video I will be watching tonight!
How does Centurion compare to ICRO on an air-assisted airless setup? Will it run easily like ICRO or stay up well like Renner? Does it atomize well? Micro bubbles?
I’m also refinishing kitchens and painting new cabinetry in live-in remodels, what paint would you use on an air-assisted airless setup?
I've not used Centurion products. But I hear that it is more prone to micro bubbles than some.
Great video! Seems like ICRO is similar to 170 envirolak? 170 first Gen was so runny. I never used 643 yet but 648 hangs incredible too
643 is best for refinishing because it has better adhesion than the 648 but 648 is good for the second coat for build or use on new cabinets.
Good advice. Looking for good distributors, who are you getting your products from, I am in the northeast also. Thanks
I get everything shipped in.
Icro no se queda bien con airless??
Will you recommend add some thickener to spray with airless set up?
Yes or do lighter coats and multiple coats.
Absolutely great video! Thank you. I just received my ICRO order and will be testing with hvlp's, and LVLP's. Can you tell me what regulator you have on your gun? I'd like to convert some of my hvlp's to a PPS system like you did. Also, what gun, just out of curiosity. Thanks again!
The gun I used here is the CA Technologies Fe-Line. I bought the PPS adapter and cup separately. The regulator is a by-pass regulator for the cup pressure only. I have another regulator on the compressor to control the air pressure at the gun. I'll do a video and give some links shortly.
@@homesteadcabinetdesign3406 please make the video showing the air regulator in compressor that will help me a lot
