Quality vid mate! Really helpful! New drivers need guides like this 😁
Any load that can telescope into my cab is something I wanna keep tied down for sure. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks a lot. Just what I needed. I've got to load and belly wrap lacquered steel pipes tomorrow using ratchets. Great video. I don't know if you're a driver trainer but you should be.
Cheers buddy. Nope, I'm just a driver but thank you.
The instructions on strapping Paul was very imformative
Brilliant guide Paul. I did like the idea of a ratchet either side on a belly wrap to make sure it's nice and tight. Don't know why I didn't think of that myself. Definitely using it though. I do a couple of things slightly different, but like you say it's what suits the individual and as long as the load doesn't move then it's a job well done.
Absolutely brilliant mate, thankyou for the detail.👍👍
Nice one mate, thanks for showing, keep up the good work.
First class Paul, this is more like it, compared to the drose the other vlogers are producing, you are top man, well done, take care.
Hi Paul , my late step father used to use ropes and straps to hold down his loads of wood and steel , stay safe and drive carefully 👍👍👍
Useful tips there Paul. We all can learn something everyday. Stay safe.
wow that bought memories back from when i first passed my HGV doing flat work moving fab mesh and rebar , stay safe great mid week vlog , it would be good to see one showing how to chain up
Great video mate, be good to see more of the same, very informative
Great vlog mate, wish I had it to watch when I started all of those year's ago. I was lucky that an old boy taught me how to rope and sheet, now the only dolly I know is the one I sleep next to every night! 😂 😂
That's just how I used to do it, so your not the only one. Just a point about your Ratchet Strap bars, I was always told that the handle was that length so you couldn't put the strap under too much pressure, the same went for the chain dogs. May have changed now, I've been out of trucks for a good while.
Hey buddy. I've never heard that before mate. I think I'd rather have straps as tight as possible though.
Another great vlog Paul 👍
tnks paul interesting video
certainly taught me a few new tricks, Cheers lad
good to see your blog mate hop you are keeping safe is the mine still ok and when are you going to do some more in the shed gary from crewe
Hey buddy. I'm sure I'll be doing some more with the welder for you guys to see.
Have you seen the latest video of the WS DRIVER GOING THROUGH THE RED X ON THE HARD SHOULDER AND SWERVING TO MISS THE TRUCK DOWN IN HARD SHOULDER 🙈
Yes buddy. The guy needs sacking!!! The company directors are dealing with it, last I heard.
Sound!
When belly rapping and ur feeding the rachette part though to tension both sides do u just fix the rachette part to.the trailer leaving the strap hook un attached
Yes bud. Leave about a foot between the hook and rachet. Then, as you start to tighten, tuck the hook between the trailer side and the ratchet.
@@Witteringtrucker thanks bud do move round stuff and this will help
Hi mate great video ass aways cheers mate
