Hello I'm 70 lovely to see a British lovely lady that can cook, got my gals around for my dinner party cant wait to cook this a modern vertion of an old classic ❤ ❤
You by far are one of my absolute favorite cooks!!! I could watch you all day! I love that your videos are quick and to the point. Everything I’ve made of yours has been amazing!❤️. Keep up the good work and keep giving us lots of variety!❤️🐾❤️
Thank you Nicky! We love your channel. Your recipes are amazing and easy to follow, you're very easy to listen to and your (husband's?) camera work is awesome too!!! Keep up the great work!
This a recipe I have Prepared several times in my Chef Days, However, yours sounds great this method is good for home cooking you do a great job .Thanks
My family and I have just eaten this for our evening meal and it was utterly delicious. Although, I think the quality of the beef skirt (from Sainsburys) contributed to the overall dish. We tweaked it a little, adding 2 teaspoons of dijon and a tsp of parsley, as they are in many other SD recipes. Thanks so much Nicky
I made this and it was delicious! I will definitely make it again. I love steak Diane and my sauce has always included some Dijon. So even though I loved it, I did try to add some. About a tablespoon. And I really liked the zip it adds. Great videos
Its in the slow cooker right now and looks delicious so far. I was stuck for what to cook for dinner, so decided to head to my favourite you tube channel and pick one of your many fantastic recipes. Your Tuscan chicken is one of my go to's now, so decided on something different. So glad I did. The house smells so 'homely'.. Love everything you do, woman xxx
just subbed yesterday and watched about 10 so far loved every one, think this is gona be my "Act 1/Scene 1" this weekend,, Thaks Nik, loving the channel, well done and stay safe.
@@Kitchensanctuary I am sure it will be a hit. A fabulous idea and recipe. I do love your page and am always browsing. Have you done a chilli con carne recipe? I used to go to a New Orleans restaurant in Bristol, sadly closed now. Their chilli was out of this world delicious, tasty, sweet, spicy, and with super rice on the side. Their live jazz was superb too!!! I'd love to find a New Orleans style chilli recipe to mimic it at home. xxxxxx
I am so happy I found your channel. I can't wait to try your recipes, they all look so yummy. When you say casserole beef is that the same as stewing beef in the packages at grocery store.
Fantastic and now friends and colleagues know all about it ! I have directed a number of people to your fabulous site having also made the lovely Tuscan chicken (big hit) I’m gonna give the spicy parsnip soup a try I’ll let you know how we go😀
Thanks guys, yeah Chris is on the camera and does the editing. Mainly using the Canon EOS R, that's become our workhorse for photos and video in the last 6 -9 months.
I'm actually in my kitchen making this as we speak, but I've noticed that there's no Dijon mustard in this recipe, but there is in the Steak Diane sauce. Just wondering if it would make it more Diane-y to add some Dijon or if there's a reason it's not in the casserole recipe?
I'm sorry if this is a daft question or has been covered elsewhere on Kitchen Sanctuary but I'm intrigued by the brown paper beneath the chopped beef. Does anyone know what might be going on with it? Thanks.
Well, everytime I try to watch this video it starts buffering at 25 seconds! 😬😭 I clicked on it so fast because it sounded so good! I really wish I could see it. Apparently other folks can see it? I've tried several times...no luck! 😢😖
I follow you for a long time and love it...but this is not a steak Diane...this is a bourguignon.....steak Diane is a full steak. ...and the sauce make it diane..

Chris was a bit shocked when i told him i had used some of his whisky but he soon forgave me when he dug into this, LOL :D

Just saw this video today n cant wait to try it out this weekend
Thank you for the recipe. It looks delicious. What can i use in lieu of mushrooms please?
Great video and recipe! Is Chris on the camera? Great work by him too! What does he use?
Thanks guys, yeah Chris is on the camera and does the editing. Mainly using the Canon EOS R, that's become our workhorse for photos and video in the last 6 -9 months.
Oh boy ! Thank you 😊

You can always add some. I tried this recipe and thought it tasted more like a beef stroganoff but it was really good.
Yes I thought that too. I’m going to add some Dijon.
It looks so delicious, roll on winter😋🤗 do you have to put in alcohol or is there a substitute please?
Any substitute for whisky or brandy? Thank you.
hi! can i use vegetable stock instead of beef? or will that come out wrong? thanks so much!
I'm sorry if this is a daft question or has been covered elsewhere on Kitchen Sanctuary but I'm intrigued by the brown paper beneath the chopped beef. Does anyone know what might be going on with it? Thanks.
Butchers paper
